Nintendo ds emulator for mac

pretty hard to sift through the search results when so many nintendo sales go down.....
anyway, pokemon black and white came out today and i'm in search of a legit emulator for my macbook and a place to download it, and some ROMS.
all i need is for it to be smooth, and have a save game feature.

Yeah I want one. I think the link above works for PC also, but I still need a DL to the actual game.
 
alright, does anyone know where to find a good english rom that will work on that desume program?
 
The DesMume works for both Mac & PC
And to get the rom sites, I've just been googleing around. The only one I can confirm the legitimacy of is DopeRoms (used it many times). i'm not sure what's going on but all of the roms that i unrar aren't recognized by desmume and my computer freezes when i try to open the rom with desmume
 
thought i was over it, but seriously, how isn't there a super easy way to do this yet? god damn the game's been out for a day and a half already.... shit i wanna play it so bad
 
Yeah no kidding! I've downloaded three ROMs and none of them fucking work. All the experience systems are broken. My pokemon don't fucking level up.
 
dude i got it to work, okay so you need to go here: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=47381.0

Then download whichever version you want, then download the AP patch. It's the anti-piracy fix, so your pokemon can get EXP. Then you need to extract the patch and .nds file. Drop the .nds file onto the patch.exe file. Wait 10-15 seconds and it should say "Patch Complete". Then drop the .nds into desmume and your good to go.
