Nine Knights actually canceled?

I know there was an event coverage saying that nine knights was canceled. A lot of people were saying it was an april fools joke. Its been 6 days since april 1st and I've heard nothing about it actually being true or not. Does anyone know definitely if it is canceled or just a messed up joke?

If this is a repeat or if the answer was posted somewhere else I'm sorry.
 
damn, how bad is the snow right now over there?

Couldn't they have done with a smaller scale version of the jump? Would've seemed smarter to still have the contest in any way possible.

No. The jump is what makes that contest what it is, and building that castle takes so much snow it is ridiculous.
 
wow I'm so mad. Oh well. You're right though, the jump is what makes it nine knights. If Picasso was going to make a masterpiece and he didn't have enough paint; it just wouldn't be right to make a painting at all.
