one thing you have to remember is that every 4frnt ski is a pro model. That is what they do. It doesn't matter if with other companies a pro has to be proven elite and time tested (or just sell skis) before they deserve their own stick. With 4frnt, every ski is a pro model, and when Shawn says that it was Niklas' turn, he's right. It doesn't matter whether or not an average pro like Niklas truely deserves a pro model. He got one because for reasons beyond my comprehension, 4frnt was making a new ski, and he was next in line.

dude trevorwoulddoit you think armadas better? From what I see they fall apart very easily and the only reason armada sells is because of the people on the team not the quality of the skis

 
thats a stupid comment. while 4frnt skis have had durobility problems, the number of skis broken is far less than most other companys. and with a better factory (option), build quality, and more importantly CONSISTANCY should be even higher. MY STLs were BEAT like the child of an alcoholic, and there is no major damage to them. a few small cracks that formed late season, and otherwise, thats it. no coreshots top or bottom (these have also been used on a number of urbans), and no delams. the only problem i had was the tail of my one ski loosing camber, which is annoying, but doesnt make the ski unskiable.

and a ski like this fits perfectly between the STL (gret jib ski, but nothing else, and the MSP, which is a tank, especially in the longer lengths. a mid flex, semi fat park and all mountain ski that can handle everything with confidence. thats sweet, cause my STLs suck on big jumps, and the MSP s too much ski for really tech rail tricks. this should fit in perfect!

you guys should be happy that someone not so famous, but really talented kid gets a pro model. I'm getting tired of always seeing just those tanner hall pros, if you know what i mean.

and personally, I'm even more stoked to see a scandinavian kid get a pro model!

giving niklas karlstrom a pro model is progressive, not unprogressive like giving one to Candide, because everytime he gets one he is garunteed another spot on a different team.

I live in a place far far away, where on occasion the telly tubbies will come to play....and that's when Ma gets out the shotgun. Damn critters climb in our gutter system all the time.

yes as mentioned above of being time tested and respected steele has been in the big time for what 4 or 5 years while nik broke out 1 or 2 seasons ago? plus steele has been an urban pioneer for a long ass time and won a few comps w/ good sections.

Jesus some of you are out of hand. Respect the fact that Niklas has gotten where he is. He gives all of you hope, considering how quickly he is moving up through the ranks. Respect the fact that he is a better skier than the large majority of this entire site. Respect 4frnt for doing something different with their skis, and trying to push their skis and riders hard and successfully. Jesu! Respect every skier because just like you, they go out there to have fun and progress, and maybe make a living out of it too. Give him props for a pro model, and even though you have opinions and freedom of speech, at least keep some things to yourself.
