What are some weird and illogical nightmares you have had or fear having?
me is seeing the music video for Always by erasure - except every person is bubbles from trailer park boys
 
I have nightmares about sturgeon about once a month.

when I was little I spent a lot of time on shasta lake during the summers and developed a large fear of them. I still spend a lot of time on the lake, and still get a little spooked when I'm in the water by myself, and have made it a life goal to catch one someday.

I am probably one of the very few people to see them jump in the lake too. Which was a very cool experience.
 
I don't have nightmares anymore. I have the most incredible vivid dream every night. It's amazing, I almost don't want to get up each morning. I trip balls in my sleep and it's fucking awesome
 
This isn't a nightmare but you know when you're like 1/2 asleep and you have those weird ass dreams that you think are real? Well this morning I wrote and read through an entire Wikipedia article on a Napolean age singer who doesn't actually exist. It took like 5 minutes to read and to think I made it all up... Just thought I'd share.
 
i had this really vivid dream that i will not go into detail about because it freaks me the fuck out, but recently my sister graduated from college, and moved back home. Anyways in my dream, we were going somewhere i was on my bike she was walking, we both decided it would make sense if we both rode our bikes, so i told her i would run back to the house to get hers, and she would just wait for me, but before i did that we met this man who recently moved into our hood, and he was walking his dog, and we made small talk with him, anyways, i went home got her bike and went back to where i left her, my bike was on the ground, but she wasnt there. I saw a person near and asked if they saw a young woman, and a man and a dog, and they pointed me in the direction they went, so i went down that street, i kept knocking on doors, but still didnt find them, finally i knocked on this one door, and it magically opened, i went inside, and looked around, i see blood all over this bed, and then there is a big black plastic garbage bag, i looked inside and see my sister all hacked to pieces, i freaked out, the guy was still home and heard me, i went after him, and he had a machete, somehow the cops got there and he got away, and then my parents get there and start yelling at me saying its all my fault shes dead, becuase i left her, and then i woke up.
Another dream not as scary at all, it was pretty cool, but a little background first, im 20 years old, and ive seen the movie Lord of War with nicholas cage as an arms dealer, so i fuckin love that movie, and i always told my mom if physical therapy doesnt work out for me, id become an arms dealer. So in my dream, im at work (i work at a ski shop but in the summer we sell insanely expensive outdoor furniture) so im walking around doing my thing, and what do u know nicholas cage walks in, so i greet him, and tell him how i loved his movie, and i wanna become an arms dealer, and he told me that its a great field, and he has soem connections in that area, and he can get some ppl i can talk to about it. and then i woke up, and i never met him
 
When I was little, if I dreamed I was on a steep Pizza Hut roof I was about to roll out of bed. Now a days if I dream of a urinal I hope I can wake up before using it.
 
There's only one nightmare that I've ever had that I remember and has made a lasting impact on me. It was 2nd grade and we had gerbils in the classroom. The gerbil just had a litter. I had a nightmare about running around in a warped version of my classroom, tearing out the baby gerbils' eyes and eating them. it was scary because I couldn't control myself in my dream at all, which is way different my normal dreams, and I was beating cuddly rodents to death with hammers and shit and eating their eyes. Definitely traumatized me a bit knowing that's what I'm like when I'm out of control.
 
My only nightmares EVER are about tornadoes. They always show up randomly in my dreams and I yell at the rest of my family to run into the basement. They all make it yet somehow I am always stuck to the floor and can't move...

Why this is odd? I live in Breckenridge, Colorado and have never actively feared tornadoes in my life. I would love to see one in real life. HAHA!
 
A few weeks ago I was having a reoccurring nightmare where there was a tornado and I had to get in the bathroom closet with my old cat. I asked my mom about it and she told me that it actually happened when we lived in Tennessee when I was about 4. The tornado was like 2 blocks over and everyone in my family, including my cat, had to get in the bathroom closet.

I have those all the time.. I've dreamt up events that never happened, and read books that don't exist..
 
NO! and the rodent babies were screaming and I could feel their pain! IT was terrible. I don't think I've ever had a dream that lasted in my mind as long as that one. I couldn't wake up, I couldn't control myself, and I'm convinced I'm a terrible person at heart now because of it.
 
OPs dream seems like it would be fun.
I just woke up from a dream where for some reason I got stabbed in the shoulder with a pair of scissors, but its was like....ok sort of, like my buddy did it to me as if he was pulling a prank on me. Then like for whatever I was doing for the rest of the dream, I remember I just had this pair of scissors sticking out of my shoulder for like an hour. Then we pulled them out. I didn't even really get pissed lol.
