Nickelback- bands we hate

hahaha

"it all comes back to nickelback"

hahahaha rofl

my dad likes nickelback and i gues their FIRST cd was OK, JUST OK

For some reason almost every album that is on the billboard top 100 is absolute shit and i can't figure out why, why the public has such horrible taste in music. Every so often a good album will break through like the new Shins or Arcade Fire or a good Hip Hop album from time to time. But the vast majority of popular music is so far away from being good in any way that its a joke.

It's true, some adult contemporary is good though, ie norah jones, kt tunstall, joss stone, or blue rodeo (so amazing)

I would die a happy man if city of caterpillar ever hit number 1

but even Joss Stone is mediocre at best, why cant the public ever listen to and appreciate good music. Why do they just flock like sheep to whatever is the catchiest, like the woman in the article said "i like nickelback, because its easy to bob my head and sing along to"

Who knows, to each their own I guess.

I've always loved heavy sad music though, something that can strike deep, good or bad, and make me think. "whats behined this words, what might have been experienced".

Same thing for happy songs

Yeah but if you think Nickelback or Creed or any of that shit is "heavy sad music" then you are on shallow ignorant person.

apparently the sweaty masses think YOU have bad taste in music

but seriously the top ten songs and what not are fucking pathetic...

hahaha I don't

I think dystopia is heavy sad music, or neurosis, or city of caterpillar, or hassan i sabbah, or husker du

In defense of hoobastank

when they FIRST started as HOOBUSTANK, they were a cool ska dance band.

Not anymore though

I dont know who makes these lists. I mean, sure there are people that listen to this music, but i assume most of you can agree with me when I say that I dont know anyone that actually respects that kinda music. It seems that EVERYONE is taking the same approach of hating on this "popular" music, yet it is still popular music. Who decides that shit these days?
