I know NS is all about freestyle but today Canada Lost a Great skier.

Nick Zoricic died racing ski cross after leaving the course on the final jump and crashing into a snow fence. The video can be found on Youtube though I won't post it.

What do people think about ski cross? It seems to me this course was not safe. I feel that racing multiple skier at a time is recipe for disaster unless the course is perfectly constructed.

i did not watch the video, but they make ski cross courses as safe as possible. regardless, accidents still happen. he crashed into the safety net, which unfortunately did not do it's job and resulted in his death.

with that being said, rest in peace.
 
well the safety net was so close to the side of the course he landed right on it probably impaled into his organs and shit and killed him crash wasnt even that bad would have been fine if it was just onto snow probably
