Nick McNutt: Modern EP

EP is my favorite skier, has been for a few year's now, and probably will be for many to come. Earlier this year at a TGR premier I was absolutely frothing for McNutt's part that my buddy who had already seen the flick told me was wicked and the rowdiest thing from the movie.

I echo that for sure, but I see a lot of Eric in how McNutt skis. Maybe it's skiing switch for the sake of skiing switch or ssssschmearing of all pads, pillows and pow in sight. I had been waiting for TGR to drop his seggy online.

Ask and ye' shall mother fucking receive

^ blame tgr's site, not NS on that one.

I must say that Blake Campbell did a stellar job piecing that seg together. I was initially against such a melodramatic song but when you listen to the lyrics and appreciate the struggle it took to get to this point it works great.

For me it's especially pleasing to watch because I logged hundreds of hours of raw footy for tgr last winter. While there was a ton of shit footage to sort through, Sir Nutt always kept the gig fresh. Hopefully we get a 'b' roll at some point too. I know there's plenty of film left to fill it up.

And congrats to the TGR crew for taking home a well-deserved best picture award at iF3. This year's film had it all because a massive crew came together to make it happen. I can't wait to see what happens at the Powder awards.

Wow, really enjoyed watching that, his way and style of doing things in the backcountry is just something you don't always see.

any of y'all know the jacket he was wearing the tan colored or yellowish one in the movie who it is made by and the name?

Also what color Booster Straps he had. I think it will help my switch landing capabilities.

Pretty sure he has an all atomic kit? His sponsors are Atomic, Smith, SureFoot and Arcade so I wold say Atomic is shooting him the outerwear

Well, he announced a couple days back that he's on TNF now.

An EP/McNutt comparison seems pretty well justified, but the biggest take away from EP in this day and age has been his ability to reinvent himself and bring his artistry to bear on every level of his skiing, filming, and product development. Hard to compare a relative pro film rookie with that level of career.

Defenitly see were you're coming from and I would like to add Karl-Kristian Muggerud to the discussion as well
