just because he threw a triple doesnt mean he'll podium, his rail game during that run weren't that great. 84 might have been a little low but not enough to medal.
Andreas, and McRae both deserve to podium with it it being Andreas's last xgames and McRae just throwing down. Nick is still an animal soo.
nevermind, i see youre using an extreme literally definition of "should" versus "will." i thought the context made them a little less clear but whatever
Goepper definitely slayed, but I taught Christensen's should've scored higher, he had the best rail section IMO and some solid jumps. Oh and please M.Douglas stop saying 'nice style' every other trick
It was tight but i didn't like the fact that his second run (I think) he was all surprised that he didn't beat McRaes run.. He totally thought that his run was better but it really wasn't, his winning run was fuckin rad though he just seems kinda snobby compared to the other skiers imo..
Read the whole thread, and you fucked up. Your words can only mean that mcrae podiumed because he had a good run, and Andreas just because it was his last one. On a more technical level a triple would exponentially increase Gus' chance of winning or at least getting bronze. Fucking tool.
I agree, in FREESTYLE skiing you should have to follow strict guidelines in what gear you use, especially something that is as handicapping to other riders such as poles.
I usually hate on geopper but I gotta admit that his winning run was incredibly well deserved. It was super technical and I like the creativity with the switch double cork with grabbed screamin' seamen. I swear the kid is a robot.
Was super sick. I was pissed he wasn't in first after his second run, which was super solid. But I was stoked when he came back out on his third run and did even better and placed first. He deserved it for sure
but I could totally see him being turned into a 'legacy skier'. the face of skiing for those who don't ski. just like Shaun White is the face of boarding for those who don't board.
Everyone knows who he is. Which is cool and all, but then it'll come to obviously upping his scores just for the sake of him being a legend in the sport like has happened to White (ie him getting a perfect score with a hand drag in his pipe run a couple years ago).
