Nick Geopper has both way trip 14's

so next year we will see back to back trips? both ways? booom bomb

I could see him having all 4 sometime not to far

In that Aspen High Performance training video, who throw that pipe dub at :30 and who was that? Shit was insane.

Also, you gotta hand it to Goepper for progressing that impressively over the last 4 years. It's pretty insane how good he is at anything slopestyle.

- that's insane. not my favorite style but that dude is so insanely good and just keeps getting better

-despite the awesome riding that second video was cornier than an 80s montage. "high performance ski training in aspen" is the lamest combo of 6 words you could string together, and the video was only missing shots of his coach waxing his skis...

That was Noah Bowman, master of the switch.

thats what the sw pipe dub looked like to me

Noah Bowman, switch dub flair i believe. More interesting than the triple in my opinion as i don't think it been done before.

I hope that guy films a part one day, he's not my favorite but he just has every trick, I'm pretty amazed on how good he is, he could definitely come up with something retarded

Could also be a switch dub 9, and Bowman's been doing them for at least a season, maybe 2? I'm not confusing it with his alley oop switch dub 9.

Nick already has all 4. First day of RedBull camp he did sw left triple 12 and then the third or fourth day he did the left trip 14. shits crazy

inb4 he tries urban without coach, gets hurt, and quits skiing

Geopper could probably put a banger urban seg together. The dudes skiing is so dialed and on point I think if he put his mind to putting together an urban segment or even a movie like the Wallisch project he could do so and it would be the best skiing ever. It takes ball to get all four trips and he's got them.

Noah Bowman. Sw down the pipe dub 9 - he's the only one that's done it to my knowledge and it hasn't been done in comp yet... also, both way triples is crazy! nice work nick!

He's an insane skier and can throw huge tricks. But you have to realize that urban is a whole new game, the rails don't slide anywhere near as nice as park rails unless you're lucky. Most of them have paint and rust which makes edges catch easy and makes it a lot harder to get tricks on them. I've hit nice urban rails and bad ones, and I've only gotten hurt on the bad ones. However, Gus Kenworthy delivered some urban hammers in his video stuff.

Geopper grew up skiing Perfect North, from what i've seen their rails weren't the best and pretty dodgy back then. I don't think you're giving the dude enough props for his skill. It's not like he's some park rat at Breck who has only hit the best rails in Freeway and can't hit anything remotely sticky.

My bet is Geopper could slay any urban.

Perfect North's park rails probably slide the exact same as Breck's, the biggest factor in how well a rail slides is usually how often it gets hit. Urban rails rarely get hit which makes them much stickier (by rust buildup, temperature, lack of moisture). I'm not discrediting his ability level, the dude could beat me in S.K.I. with two tricks blindfolded. I'm just saying that urban takes a lot more thought into every trick, you're skiing in a place not meant for skiing. Just going and hitting the rail without checking it out (like one would in a park) would end up in injury. I didn't mean to come off as an ass, I just cracked a joke about the attitude of a competition skier and how that attitude leads to injury in an urban situation.

I got to lay off the long posts, it's getting hot in here.
