Alright, so all of us 'nice' guys see all these hot chicks with guys that we think are total assholes, and we think, 'Why is she with him instead of me? I dress well, looks are okay, keep the grades up, have an eye on my future, and like to have fun! Why is she with that trashy little bum?'

Well guys, the truth is is that the bitch deserves to be with him because she doesn't know any better. Besides, she's ugly underneath her mask of makeup, doesn't know shit, wouldn't be worth a damn to talk to, and has been boned a hundred times by guys that you would cross the street to avoid. I don't think it can be put in terms of nice guys finish last or, the assholes are taking all the 'hot' girls, if a nice guy is jealous because he doesn't have 'hot' girl, then there's no reason anyone should feel sorry for you.

I think the dating game is all very logical, people who don't take the initiative finish last. Shit everyone is going to get rejected at some point, no matter how good looking or nice you are, or if you're an asshole. That's no reason to stop taking the initiative and doing something for yourself.

The nice guys finish last approach works well as a self-serving philosophy when you're 15 and can find pity on instant messenger, but as you start growing up and everyone arounds you starts maturing in the ladder years of high school, you're going to realize that you have to go out there and be confident and take the initiative.
