wich do you prefer??

for me its college. i just feel like the fans are more into it and so are the players and that just makes it more fun to watch

discuss...

NFL. I'm a Terps and Ravens fan, and the Terps aren't fun for football, so I don't pay attention to college football.

And fuck yeah, the Ravens are boss this year, again.

fuck you, they played a good game yesterday though but i wouldnt say they're back they just learned how to play the steelers.

also i like nfl because i know the players of my team, i can remember their names and numbers but with college it is usually every 2 years for starters since they very rarely start freshman year but still every 4 years there is a new qb or star receiver.

it is nice to see all of the fans and how into football and dedicated they are.

What do you mean you wouldn't say they're back? They never left. They were a top 10 last year, and they will be a top team this year.

Forcing 7 turnovers on the Steelers with not a single one for themself except when they went for the run on 4th down. So, umad.

yes i am quite bitter actually.

but they arent a championship contender, if you ask me they are a solid playoff team and that is about it. They could be a great team and in a year or too if they get a better qb not that flaco is bed but he isnt one of the elite in the league they have a great runner in rice, fucking spectacular the way he ran against the steelers d yesterday and a great reciever and their defense is pretty high up there in sacks.

now i dont want to turn this into a favorite team thread, back to college vs. nfl.

I enjoy watching both but they're very different to me, its almost like watching two separate sports.

I'll just throw up some Flacco stats: Last season, he had the second best average QB rating in the NFL after the first 2 games of the regular season. He lead the Ravens to the playoffs three years in a row starting on his rookie season, (tied with Dan Marino, about to be beating Dan Marino). He has thrown for 3000+ yards two years in a row, tied franchise record.

He's pretty damn good. And he has good receivers, a great running back, and two up and coming tight ends.

And our defense is just great, simple as that.

They are a championship contender. So what if we choked last year against the Steelers. We shouldn't have had to play the Chiefs in the first round of the playoffs last year so we could have had more time to focus on the Steelers.

I like both, but I prefer college. The fans and players are just more into it. It's more enjoyable to me to watch guys go out and bust their asses for the joy of the game and not because they're also making millions of dollars.

College Bro!!!!! Who honestly gives a fuck about the Browns vs. the Chiefs... I can watch almost any college game and root for a team. There is no element of a band or students in the NFL, it adds so much more atmosphere to a game. And there are so many different styles of offense in college that can be successful where as just the "plain jane" pro style of the NFL. It is always interesting to watch the Speed vs. Power in college but you lose these elements in pro.

College has more passion involved, simple as that.

this, but the NFL has nothing on college ball. In college they actually try because they dont get paid and its not "work", the game is a passion. once college players hit the NFL they get lazy and have less spirit because it just like work, they play for a check, not a championchip

Both.

NFL is bigger, faster, better football.

But you cant beat good college rivalries. Though the BCS system makes me like college football much less.

College for sure. I'm a few hours out from the Bay and let's be realistic, the Raiders and Niners haven't had a good season in awhile.

I definitely enjoy NFL, but I also enjoy college.

The big downside to college football is the BCS shit - it totally kills me. Talk about anti-climatic.

In the end, I enjoy NFL more.

college football is all scandals and giving away money illegally, and fake grades it's embarrassing. At least in the NFL there upfront about paying there players. I have zero respect for college football, it has nothing to do with college and everything to do with illegal money. Right now but do enjoy watching NFL.
