Next years k2

Just saw a wee bit of info on next years K2 gear, the P.E. will be called the extreme and have an old school fluro design, the fujative will be bigger, at 95 under foot. The seths name has changed again, forgot what it was though, looks like an interesting line up for sure, and super dope graphics on the new hellbents. I guess you guys wont see them till L.A.

Hard Luck

gonna have to call b.s. on that one. it's not that any of that sounds improbable as far as K2 could want to do for next year, but the shady circumstances around this guy (9 posts=probably an alias) and his claim to have what would be, at this point, inside information.

maybe that's why he has an alias, because people at k2 know his ns name and he'd get bitched out, but i also did hear the fuji's were gunna be wider this coming year

that's sick info. a Fuja at 95 underfoot is something I would consider spending money on! And a Hellbent with better graphics sounds really cool.

word is there's an addition to the line... fat ski, but skinnier than the HB, rockered, fun times. that and most of the info in the first post is all i know.

Whatever dude, so im new to NS, whatever. New Zealands trade show was last weekend, and i aint claiming or talking shit. i just have a life and dont spend all my time on a computer....

and thats what i thought aswell, what a gay name, but aparantly a long time ago when it was still straights there was a ski called the extreme... and they have taken those graphics. that changed my mind a little

extreme? what an unoriginal fucking name. thank god i've got 2 years ago pe's. actually, now that i think about it, the ar6's are a pretty shitty name too. but whatever.

i said nothing to belittle or insult you, bro, so please don't get worked up. that's the last thing we need more of on here...hate and insults flying around. i do have a life, in fact for how long i've been a member, my post count is pretty low. i just described what i saw as what was probably going on. a fact of the matter is it's not uncommon for bs to get put on the boards. it happens a lot. at the same time, i could've been wrong. now you've provided a decent sounding explanation for how you found out. either way, there's no need to be defensive. if i offended you, i'm sorry, it was not my intention.

I guess I wouldn't be surprised to see that considering its Pep's pro model and stuff... but it just doesn't make sense from a marketing point of view. As of right now there is still a very limited market for rockered skis. And Rockerd skis suck on hard park. So if they have the Hellbents with a rocker, and the seths with a mini rocker... possibly more of a rocker if what is said is true with the Seths being reworked and then a THIRD rockered ski in between the Seth and Hellbent like someone else said then would make no sense to have a 4th rockered ski leaving just the PE (extreme?) and the silencer with a traditional camber in the line up. They would sell fewer skis. Not that many people are looking to get on rockered skis to have 4 skis on their line up like that.

yeah I could see that since they are pep's pro models, but then K2 wouldn't have a higher end park ski

yeah i hope the change the hellbent graphics.this years are a little to intense.but 95 under foot fujis arent even guna be park enymore at all

That will be sick. The Extremes would be a sick name, especially if they hve oldschool graphics. like those dynastars using the oldschool design. Wider fuji would be tight.

And you guys k now that only the tip on the seth is rockered right? Not the tail.

The one thing I really didnt like about k2s current line is the graphic on the fuji. It is super lame. c'mon pep. . . pick something sweet, put some more shasta on it.

Why wouldn't it make sense?  water skis without rocker?  havent you heard that they have decided to change over to water sports?  no more snow skis, no more snowboards....water skis and wakeboards.  a very exciting new turn for the company.  backed by all the athletes giving up the hazards of avalanches and what not for sun tans and wakes.

I dunno man, they change the seths every two years, this year was a change. I would bet if it changed it would not be for another season. i could be wrong though.

im gutted that the fujative will be 95, sure it will make for a good ski but i loved it this season as a park ski. and i reckon the old school graphic is sick, i guess everybody will have their own opinion though.

meh could be true but who knows...i dont really care at the moment and a rockered fujative would suck for park...jumps would be gay unless you stomped it perfectly

OH SHIT!!!! i better stock up on k2's now before they make a snowboard for each foot.... what the hell happend to k2 park skis... seems like the silencer is gonna be the only k2 pak ski left under 95....

im sure they'll still make park skis that are under 90mm underfoot. still, unless you're zippering bumps its nice to have skis that are a little fatter. actually its not that bad ripping bumps with fat skis either.hahah the k2 extremes had such a sick graphic. if they're the ones im thinking of they'll be black with the repeated k2 going down the tip fading from floropink to ninja turtle green. does anybody have a better memory of that ski? by the way i want to see a reissue of the kent krietler pro's and the brad holmes outlaws. seriously.

thats sounds about right for the graphic. sounds pretty sick to me, and there was one other park ski, cant remember to much about it though, i will take a look at the specs sheet soon hopefully

idk about that, im not sayin its not true, im just questioning K2 on that one.

skiis like the hellbents and pontoons are 100% powder skis, it makes sense to rocker them, but it sounds like this ski is just gonna be a rockered AK. Now imo thats kindof stupid because its gonna have the cut of a powder ski that still holds its own in the park like the AK or a scratch steeze or something like that, but its gonna suck in the park and on groomers becuase you can dig the tip in with a rockered ski, and park landings will always be sketchy with a rockered ski. i just dont get it?????

^^^^^^

cant dig the tip in is what i meant, its just harder to put pressure on the inside edge of a rockered ski on groomers
