Incase you haven't heard, Next week is looking pretty good. Snow level is dropping down to about 3000ft and staying there for the whole week. It looks like there will also be moisture in the air most of that time. We couls see our snowpack start to build!!! Keep your fingers crossed, the weather is starting to look promising.
 
white pass supposed to get 3-7in tomorrow :D other places will get snow too probably. im thinking a foot or more in the mountains by the end of the week! FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!

fuck yes stevens!!, im hopeing the snow stays and they start building some snow pack, but i can always tell if its melting by if its staying on top of the clock tower thing.
 
Actually hes referring to the year in which snocompton pretty much didnt even fucking open. One the worst years since 98 or whenever that other dead year was. In '04 we got a lot of snow early, and it was a fucking horrible year. An El Nino year, like this one (supposedly)~

I have a solid little 8 foot rail that I will brang If my buddy takes a truck. Its short, but all I can really work with.
 
its just a big liabillity with you sliding out stuff when we didnt set it up and maintain it. Its a problem every year. I know its tempting but please stay off them it make less work for me in the long run. you haul a shitload of rails out and dont put them back monday morning i have to pick them all up. just pray for snow so we can put that shit in a park. and set it up legit
 
Rumor has it snow level at 8k by friday. Not to rain on your parade, but you may need to re-think the jibbing....
 
Im hopeing the snow wont go away but, i dont think it will, we kinda want pretty shitty snow right now to build the snow pack up.
 
I know. Pisses me off. I still have faith that enough will be there to use. Its supposed to cool off again. But warm up after that.
 
It be a remnant of a hurricane, meaning warm, moist tropical air.

There will be no snow.

The further south it goes, the more haste at which we are fucked, but regardless, you can hope for some stupid ice layer, or a cooling trend, but that shit gonna get annihilated.
 
just got back from stevens. it was super sick sessioned the green elbow kink for a bit then headed across the street to the two double barrels and two boxes super fun!!! even learned some new tricks. felt like winter

It's time to start talkin' new snow, aka powder...

Another season is just

around the corner. Already we've had dumpage - ya gotta love it in late October

- a foot and a half at Stevens! Snow down to 3000ft at the Summit.

Expect

more snow later Thursday and Friday ( 3-6"). The snow level pops to 8000ft later

Friday night (I hate when that happens), with rain to erase some of the gains --

but I think we'll only lose only a few inches due to the melting. Upper

elevations will form a good base with the rain on snow. Snow level drops to

4500-5000ft Saturday - with more accumulation in the upper elevations. It should

be loading up with snow in Green Valley at Crystal.

The up and down snow

levels in October is a trick or treat teaser for the real season coming

up.

Stay tuned, I'll have details about what our El Nino winter means for

i want to believe it but i have been let down by him too many times before
 
is it just me or is WARM as all shit? oh it is, hence most of it melted with very little rain... which we will be getting plenty of tonight to add insult to injury.
