Next pair of skis

What up my dudes. I need some help on picking out my next pair of skis. I need to snag em ASAP. I’ve been riding sir Francis bacons (190) for the past two years and they’re about to completely fall apart. Considering it’s only February, I’m thinking I’m going to need a new pair of sticks before the season is over. I’m a bigger guy (6’3”, 250ish) and definitely need an all mountain ski similar to my bacons. I love skiing everything on the mountain besides rails if that helps. I was thinking about just getting the newest model of SFB’s again, but wanted to see if NS had any suggestions.

New SFB's are tons of fun but have softened up from the version you own. At your size, I'd go 191 Jeffrey 108.

I Had a pair of Arv 106 that did really good when I took them out to Whitefish and Red Lodge, but also ripped the park back in Wisconsin. I am also 6'3" and the 188cm did good.

I'd stick with the LINE SFB's

I just mounted up a pair of the LINE 2016 Bacons, and don't know if I can go back to riding anything else.

I mounted them at the recommended midsole (like 3/4in back from true center) and gawd damn!! they are amazing! they rip pow, I ski park jumps & rails, and they lay down some deep trench.

Possibly my first ever time saying 1 ski quiver.

Though I do prefer my LINE chronics on an all park day, and my old LINE opus on a super deep day. But if there could be only 1, it would be the SFB.

6’1, 185-200lbs , have the new bacons and will probably sell them this summer they’re soft as can be @15 uses so much much fun , surfy and loooooose but I feel better on something stiffer

I’m now debating between outline vs a handful of skis that are -3 to -6cm mount once I sell them

Same boat as you op. Taller, slightly heavier dude. Rode some 2018 sfbs and kinda broke them. Jumped on some 191 Jeff 108s and haven’t looked back

I think Candide 2.0 might be a good option too

completely agree, i actually rock candide 2s but they are just so fragile (however new ones look to be promising with rubber tips and metal binding plate)

I think I’m going to go with the jeffs as well. They seem perfect for a bigger, charging guy haha
