It’s a public forum. He can contribute anything he wants to this site, money, articles, photos, etc. NS encourages people to do this. He could write articles for the front page (with he has never done) and not really touch the forum.

The point is he is ranting about a site he has barley fucking used. The idea of a forum is to share information. How much has he shared? Not a lot.

He has ample opportunity to improve the site (as does everyone), but has done jack shit. If he really cared he would do something about it.

You get out as much as you put in. End of story.

True man, every true, but i still agree with him on many different things especially about the skiing. But as of recent this site has gone to hell, seriously. People yelling at you because you don't like a certain ski, or you have a certain ski. And when you have people like ATL ski, and J.D. May who put this whole site to shame. just too much anger. This site did start gettin gay around the time I showed up, december of last year. At that point there would be a couple threads about fashion and shit like that, but mostly all about skiing. Fashion threads are all over the fuckin place right now, and all the little shits on here are all about looking cool and shit like that. who the fuck cares. Its so annoying.

all we have is park and that is a lot more fun than bangin gates and just makin turns

i will admit, 5 years ago i was racing, and learning how to do 360's, and when i say i dont care, i mean i dont care what insults u have for me, cause im set in my ways, like ya im checking this, but it seems to be so popular right now so im just seein how pissed people are gettin, and its all gold for me, i love it. But 5 years ago was probably the best time of skiing for me, i looked up to 12 and 13 year olds who were throwin flairs up at our windlip, and huckin backs in our park, also switch rodeo 5's bein thrown. When i saw those guys huckin it, i knew i was gonna ski the rest of my life, but the best kid out of that bunch quit skiing because he says its selling out, and it is. when all the old pros are gone and the young guns become the new household names, it will be a buch of young bitches drivin escolades, with long hair and gold chains, and if thas not gay, slap my ass and call me charlie

k i live in edmonton. it is flat. all i can ski thats close is like 300m vert. so i ski park and am a ski instuctor. i can only pull 5's and switch 3's, but who cares. all that really matters is that I GO OUT, SKI, AND HAVE FUN DOIN IT! man, if u lived in a flat place, youd learn to appreciate spending a day in the mounatins, shreding pow.

Well you know what i had that expearence, and you know just by saying those things shows hwo you schould be kicked off every ski hill on the planet. I had a friend ( Justin Bedeau) who took a jump, tryed a backfilp and smacked his head and was knocked out in the air. He landed on his neck and was unconcious for 30 mins. You know what he did after he worke up, he picked up his planks and kept skiing. You know what that is, that is what new school skiing is all about.

He woke up the next morning his face was almost swolen to the point where he could not breath. He was flown out on air ambulance, and almosty died. You don't have to fucking pull corks, or crazy grinds to be new school. It is not about who is better in the park, and shit, and obviously you don't know shit. Look at pollard, why he got out of comps, and why many of the worlds best skiers don't even ski comps.

You and idiotic bigit that does not know anything. Anybody who uses the insult "fuck you nigger" show be whipped as many times as the slaves, which underwent those 400 years of oppression, where wipped.

I'm glad your friend who quit because of the "sellouts" quit. One less person to stand in the way of progression. Is Tony Hawk a sellout? Dave Mirra? Mat Hoffman? They all have video games, have done comercials for random things not related to their sports. Does making money make them a sellout? I for one want to work in the ski industry after I graduate. I know I won't be good enough to get paid to ski, but I'd like to be able to get paid to pay people to ski. If you are afraid of skiing becoming "non-core" then quit, you are not needed by this sport. I want to make money in the ski industry, I want the pros who risk their lives to get paid what they deserve. Afterall it is their job, It's a fun job, but it's still a job.

And the young kids coming up are nothing but good for the sport. The origionators are my favorite to watch, but guys like Rainville, Shiller, Etc, push the origionators to do more. Without them, we'd be seeing Tanner's crusty old switch rodeo 7 over and over. and that is the opposite of progression. Don't get me wrong, Tanner pushes the sport more than anyone, but back when all of the OG guys were cometing, the switch rodeo 7 was the contest winner for more than a year.

What the fuck do you care about what people are doing anyway. I don't know about you, but I ski because its what I like to do, and I don't give a rat's ass about what anyone else thinks of what I am doing. I don't drop huge cliffs, don't lap the park, can't spin more the 540 and I don't care because I do what I want to do. If you don't like it, I don't care. you have your opinions and I have mine, but keep your bullshit to yourself.

The thing about dave mirra and stuff being sell outs, yes, that is exactly what they are, that is exactly what the word means. And no they schould not be paid because it is not a job, it isn't it is a sport....... a fucking way to be with your friends, and to be fit. Look at fuck b-ball players getting Paid Millions of dollars, and you see paramedics and nurses ( who save lives everyday) get shit cause people don't know who they, or because they can't push a product. I don't know about you but that is fucking wrong. There schould be no such thing as pro athletes in this world, only athletes.

And about progression, yeah progression is good, but the attitude that is with it is bad, being a wigger on the hill is wrong and stupid direction to go in. It schould be like it says in the NS banner, a community. People with positive attitudes, not this shit.
