Alright so I know we have done these in the past because I have been a part of both of them but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a Stock Market Challenge Game. I would run it off of MarketWatch.com and be open to anyone on Newschoolers.

Please Let me know if you are interested/any suggestions for stipulations and I will start on one.

I'd be game to participate. I also think it's a good idea to put together a prize for the top 3 finishers. If Bishop would hook it up with a NS shirt or something, that would be ideal. I'd also be game to throw in a few bucks toward a prize pool if not.

I know very little about stocks, but this seems like it would be a cool way to learn a little bit more. if you do it, I'm down.

yeah the password is newschoolers haha, i meant to make a thread when i made the game but just put the link in the old thread.

okay link is here: www.marketwatch.com/game/ns-stocksuckers-2

password is "newschoolers"

Link is not working and I cannot find it when I search.

Well, my portfolio is diversified up to the fuckin moon. Also, I would recommend doing significant market research prior to purchases. Almost invested in a failing mutual fund by accident

Is having access to a Bloomberg Terminal considered cheating if I wanted in on the next game?

You can still join in on this one. And I don't see what it would be

Hmm, Ill have to see if I have the time.

I just feel like it could be an unfair advantage, so much information that no one else really has access to at their finger tips.

Don't worry, it won't be enough, you have no chance regardless.

Bloomberg, FactSet, CapIQ .... through in some material non-public information. I think I got a winning strategy.

does it require previous knowledge about stocks? i would be down to participate, because I've always wanted to learn about stocks and shit.
