I can only imagine how many more there are, you should know how NH is, Nashua was full of them today.

Planning to run a mellow tune around 15psi on the new GT3076r for the fall and winter (hopefully a little over 300awhp) and then amping it up in the spring.
13497359:Titus69 said:Absolutely sexy man, looks perfect.
13497859:WordupVT said:Thanks, really wish it was perfect ahaha. Many little things need to be done along with the turbo and a re-route of the coolant lines. Plan on ripping out the rear seats and doing a half-cage and dropping some bucket seats in the front. Supposed to be every 100 pounds you drop is 3% added boost pressure, so I'll be going for some weight reduction in the spring.
13497868:Titus69 said:That sounds awesome, you gonna track it?
13497947:WordupVT said:Possibly, but there aren't really any good tracks near me, I'de love to take it to limerock or something though. Mostly just a build for daily use and fun.

The bad part is its a "country club" so Im pretty sure its gonna be very expensive. Right now its basically a rally stage, which Id be fine with.

Looks fun as fuck! It looks like it'll be ready next spring paved and all. Now I have a reason to cut vents in the hood and rip the back seats out haha.
13498134:Titus69 said:Good to hear, I drove past on my way to forest rally in July and the progress looked good! Its not in a busy area but theres stuff around it. Id totally go there when I get a "cool" car
13498433:WordupVT said:I just hope it's not going to be rediculously expensive to go for a day. Could organize and NS track day ahahaha. Everyone in the area with a decent whip has to be there.

13498474:Titus69 said:I heard it is but I'm not sure. I feel like its for rich guys with gt3s and track built exotics
13498497:WordupVT said:Fack. Hopefully there will be a season pass option type deal, I'd spend a lot of time there on weekends.
13498512:Titus69 said:I'd go occasionally but if I'm going up north I'm going on dirt roads in the middle of the woods. Not a big track but still looks fun as hell
13498524:WordupVT said:Well over here in vt we got plenty of dirt roads in the middle of the woods ahah, in fact I live off of one. Just makes my car dirty and muddy. Only fun thing is I can break all 4 tires loose 1st through 3rd gear no problem for a little drift action.

13498828:saskskier said:Ha ha. People who don't signal are the worst.
13498830:Titus69 said:Witness way to many a day, even funnier when I dont see cops do it.

13499123:saskskier said:From what I've read, the HPFP issues are pretty much only a a problem with the turbo'd engine in the 335i. From what I understand, it sounds like the big things to watch out for in the n/a engine are the water pump/thermostat and the ignition coils. I'm sure there will be other things (it IS a BMW after all...). Ha ha.
13499136:BenWhit said:wasn't there a model-year where they coated every wire in the car black? so only BMW tech's could work on them.
but, what do I know, I'm a Mazda guy

13499139:saskskier said:Oh probably. That definitely sounds BMWish. Ha ha. I know they've got some stupid things like if you need to replace the battery, you need to bring it in so all the coding can be reset (unless I pick up a coder).

13499887:ianrich511 said:If you ever notice it takes a long time to start, it is your fuel pressure regulator in your tank(200 dollar fix DIY)
This is true.
water pump is electric, and will go out around 75K, MSRP of pump is 600, had mine replaced for 1100 with labor.
Not true. I pulled my battery out no problem and put in an interstate battery.
Got mine at 60K, now at 90K. Its what I like to call the maintenance window lol.

2005 subaru outback 2.5 xt. Has 105k on it and is around 5700, it's manual

Then we have a 2008 subaru outback 2.5xt limited, has just under 90k on it, it's loaded, leather seats and all and is about 8500. it's an automatic.

help me choose pls?
13500370:Titus69 said:Id say manual just for the fun of it, plus I feel like both are as good as eachother and youll save a couple grand to do fun stuff to it. I love the look of that outback too.
13500447:Chubz. said:Yeah seems to make the most sense doesn't it..haha.
Hopefully that thing will be mine in the coming weeks.

I sincerely hope you are budgeting an amount equal to the asking price of the car for repairs within the first full year of ownership. I would personally stay away from both of those unless your father owns a repair shop.

13500476:taj. said:I usually agree with your posts, but your generalizations and little knowledge of cars is hilarious. He mentioned nothing of his mechanical skills and intentions of repairing problems himself, and any real details of each car. So you're just being a pessimistic piece of shit.
Maybe I'm just being trolled, who knows.
