im simply letting you know what the correct terminology should be when referring to sizes and types of sway bars. I build race cars bud I know what sway bars do bud.
 
oh because it seemed like you were an idiot, because softer/stiffer work fine when talking about the general purpose of the part.

to speak in terms of size is unnecessary, "derrrr a 21mm sway bar will.." The stiffer you go, the worse the performance in snow. Don't try to catch me in some word game, jerkoff

Talking about size does matter because you want a size that will work with whatever your stock front sway bar is, that is unless you are upgrading both. Sway bars are a reactive piece and need to work together (front and back) if you want to maximize handling capabilities.
 
the specific size doesn't matter at all in the context that I used it, you can't refute what I said, you can only minimize it with your own person anticdote saying you didn't notice a difference in your S4

actually you probably shouldn't lol. get rid of all of those gay ass mods and get some real shit. I'd recommend rethinking your future mods and also putting that BPV in full recirc asap seeing as running VTA is not good for the car without proper tuning...

Also have fun running a "full racing exhaust" (i'm assuming that's a turbo back exhaust?) and FMIC without an AP or fuel pump internals. Next speed 3 to blow up...i'm betting on yours in a few months lol.

Yeah I have a 2nd gen. It's a strange love and hate relationship. From certain angles I love the car and from others I hate it.

HAHA jesus dude no reason to be a douche, I was naming the big ones and not going too technical (this is a skiing forum not a car forum) and I am a member of mazda3forums.com, I know my shit so don't try and give me a lesson on cars, and I wont blow up my car either. I research everything fully and thoroughly before I make an adjustment and mod. As far as my car being a ricer, just because I blacked it out doesn't mean it's a ricer. And you must've missed the part when I said I was blocking the VTA port to make it 100% recirc, I know what it does to the car having it VTA. And it's been 50/50 for 1 day, that's it (I JUST literally installed it). And by full racing exhaust I mean downpipes, catback, etc. the FULL exhaust and racing meaning high end. When I make mods I purposefully do not go the cheap route so I avoid being a cheap ricer shitbox. I like deep noise from my cars, not high pitched rattlers.

Nah, the speed 3 definitely didn't contend with them. That was what the Speed6 was for. The speed 3 is like a more powerful alternative to the civic Si. It's also a 1000 times better than a civic Si
 
What is up your ass dude? I was just explaining what a bpv/bov does/sounds like to those who don't know what it is. And it vents even on full recirc. And I know ricers go for the CF look, but how do you know I'm not going to paint them true red like the car? So what, I painted the moldings black because I like it that way, what do you or anyone else care? Either way I see it, I still have a sick looking car that is even sicker performance-wise and not a lot of kids my age can say they have all that self made. I don't drive a car where the mods are worth more than the car itself and that, in my eyes, is a ricer car, as far as what you seem to consider a ricer, half the bmw's and audi's you see on here are too.
 
not really. just messed with ecu and put a CAI on since Mazda restricted air flow a fuck load in the new Speed 3's.The thing I most love about hte Speed 3's. They boost tons of turbo pressure. 15psi is pretty high for a street car I think.
 
You have thought about getting a bpv? The stock is completely plastic, which is why that's the first and only thing i've replaced so far under the hood. It shifts way smoother now and no sputter either with the turbosmart one. But it's pretty expensive (350)
 
What is a bpv? Not really sure what it is.

Oh, and please don't get Halo's on your headlights. It doesn't look good on any car but BM's. Just my opinion. I think the Speed3 looks really strange with it as well.

And with my car. I don't technically own it anymore. I moved 2 months ago to race formula and gt cars for Toyota next year and possibly Nissan in 2 years. So basically I sold the 2/3's that I owned of it to my parents. Here in October when I sign my contract with Toyota I will get 50% off of any toyota or lexus I want. I'm definitely getting a Supra or maybe a FT-86 whenever it comes out.
 
Eh, only lexus i'd want is a IS350, ISF, or LFA. They don't sell the 350 here in Japan. And the ISF is just too expensive. Even with the 50% discount. Also Supra's are just sooooooo badass

I have many friends inside and out of the racing world that would all tell you i'm extremely humble. It's just some of the people on here are pretty stupid to me. And to me, most freeskiers are douche's. I only freeski because I think it's fun. And you got a problem with my opinions? Go cry to your mommy. Although that would be contradictory because i've been commenting on other people's opinions.

stock bpv holds to 20 psi with no problems and some times more...don't give advice to others when you know nothing about the car. fucking up your car is enough, don't lead someone else down the same wrong path.

the fact that you said this further proves my point that you're a dumbass. lol at you "doing research" before purchasing mods. if you did that you would have went SRI, RMM, AP, FPI etc. or something along those lines. this is hopefully my last post towards you, just wanted to reiterate the fact that you have a lot to learn about the platform. have fun with the rod exiting your block unless you wise up.
