2. a full turbo-back exhaust

3. the stock td04hl-15t turbo

4. a 3.5 bar fuel pressure regulator

which produces something like 280whp.

i suppose i should have mentioned that it boosts 23-24psi? does that help?

 
well i do almost everything myself and i enjoy doing it so it hasnt been a problem... ive had the car for 35k miles

and what the fuck is up with this thread? its a claim thread, so i let the pressure to make a small claim overtake me. i said nothing disrespectful to anyone. i held back from saying "it will beat your wrx" even though it most likely will depending on what youve done to said wrx. it was a simple "this is my car, this is what ive done, im proud of it" and now my ass is on the chopping block. everyone's gotta get their jabs in.

Well you see, I can't really take a picture of myself with the car anymore because I've moved and my parents back home now own it. I moved to Tokyo 3 months ago for college and now I don't have my baby anymore :[

had an 00' saab 9-3 5 dr turbo, had to drive to fl for school and it wasnt too safe so i took my moms 08 outbac wagon, sos toked on it so much more enjoyable to drie than my old car, now theyre selling it probs get and accord or camry later on this year. not gonna bother posting a pic cause its that purply base outbac wagon everyone knows/has lmao
 
I really hate the new camry's. They feel like such a junky car. I love my 97 camry xle, I like it more than the newer versions

1: It's a V6, slow as fuck. It's not IN ANY WAY FAST and I know that.

2: I know I look like a fat ass major tool in the picture.

3: I know it's the most ghetto mustang ever.

4: I got the car in good shape from my dads friend for $1000 bucks, so i could care less that it's a V6

5: I got the rims on craigslist for $350.

Before I had rims like this I probably made fun of people for putting shit like this on a V6 mustang, or V6 mustangs in general.

I like the way it looks, it's kinda my style.

Sorry but I know I'm gonna get a major shitstorm for my car and you honestly can't say bad stuff about it that I've never heard before. I also try not to be a douchebag stereotypical mustang driver either, but oh well people are gonna hate.

Just wanted to say, I honestly laugh at the car myself. I love it though and that's all that matters.

Ya only a grand. I had a grand at the time and all the car needed was brakes and tires so I was like, fuck it why not? I bought it 2 years ago when I was 15 and didn't even have my license either. Haha.

No not sarcastic at all. Seriously, a new car is expensive, but awesome because you know all the maintenance you've done to it, and you can probably keep it running great for a long time. Like I said I'll probably never be able to afford a new car but reliability is always a good thing to have. What's it get for gas mileage also? I'd imagine it'd be pretty good right? Which is only another reason it's a good car.
 
just drove it through a fucking river with water up to the headlights.fucking stupidest thing ever. i'm a fucking idiot.

engine sounded fine while driving but when i revved it in neutral it sounded super weird.

never hydrolocked or had trouble starting and accelerated great.

no engine lights are on, never stopped in the river.

any help without telling me i'm an idiot is appreciated.
 
Probably just the water coming out of the exhaust if you slowed down, or you may have gotten it in the engine, it can take up to a day after water entry for an engine to hydrolock, if it stayed running after the water it is unlikely that it would just seize out of no where. Tomorrow, you may find out your fucked though
 
Take your plugs out, and crank the engine over to try and get some of the water out if it's in the engine, then pour a tiny bit of motor oil through each plug hole and crank it over again. Then do or get an oil change as well. When ever my tractor or quads were underwater and stalled, I dragged them out and did this and they were fine
 
Yeah, no problem. Only a tiny bit of oil in the plug holes though, to much will fuck up your rings and that would be even more of a mess
 
I'd maybe take the Air filter and dry it out too. idk if it got in the internals and it's in a situation where it won't come out. you'll pretty much be f'ed unless you take the whole engine apart.
