Newschoolers image embed killllllls photos.

I imagine this is a pretty big coding project, and thus not something thats going to happen soon, but as anyone who frequents M&A is well aware, when you embed a photo in your post NS sucks the life out of it. Colors become dull flat and just plain awful, yet when you click you get the proper vibrant image. Is there anyway to recode so that the image is just resized and not also killed?

I don't believe so, all the forums that I've frequented in the past have had the same issues. Even with photography forums, the photos were very dull
