I have a 12-fifteen minute speech thats due next week and have no idea what to write it on. I believe 95% of a speech is the topic so I figured I would ask thoise wiser than I in NSG. Ready set...GO
I'm thinking ski design just because there is so much to talk about. rocker, camber, early rise, edges, butter zones, wood cores, synthetic cores, wide skis, skinny skis, swing weight, parabolic shaped, you know? any additions.
^^yes, i dunno if you're a science guy, but the theory of relativity is actually quite easy to understand and you could explain several mindblowing scenarios such as the twin paradox, you don't even need to get all tech with the formulas, just the basics are enough to blow someones mind!
If your doing a speech on ski design to none skiers, they may not give a fuck, wether halfpipe is in the olympics you could set up as more of a persuasive speech, rather than just stated ski design facts.
abortion. theres so much info/opinions and facts from both sides on it. i had a speech on this and it was the easiest one i have ever had to do. i could have gone on easier.
Talk about social networking and it's positive and negative effects on society. That would be informative, but if you want to go persuasive, persuade kids not to take things for granted. You can get some awesome stories to back up not taking things for granted.
If you have to ask other people for something epic, its probably not going to be that epic... Just sayin. The most epic speeches I've heard in school are from people that just spout funny shit all day anyway.
