You may or may not have seen in the news section, but Newschoolers Gear Team are releasing our Editors' Picks over the coming weeks.

We have already launched our All Mountain and Park picks for 15-16:

This thread is mostly just to alert those of you who don't go to the news section all that often and to tell you a bit more about the picks.

The picks are a completely independent choice for our team of Gear Editors. Nothing is paid for by the brands, nobody pays for reviews on NS. Brands are supplying us with skis to test but no guarantees are given as to positive or negative reviews, let alone being selected as an editors pick. In addition many of the picks are just items we happen to have bought and loved. The selections are what we'd choose to have in our Roofboxes.

Make sure you check out the review system before posting asking for reviews in the forums, it's a greatly underused asset on the site. And make sure you review your gear, you could be in with a chance of becoming part of the Gear Team in the future.
 
Love the idea keep it up all season.

I REALLY want to get my hands on some Kartel 98's as my daily driver all mountain ski. Don't want to spend that much on skis since I just bought new boots and pow skis. Maybe mid/end season if I can get another season out of my surface watchlifes.

It doesn't take much to make your own reviews! The more reviews that end up in the review section, the more people will check it out.
 
RoofBox reviews are awesome! keep up the good work guys, i seriously use your reviews to pick out what gear i consider.
