...for those sick of paying $30 in gas so you can pay for parking and then a ridiculous ticket price and a lunch bill at a mountain that doesn't love you... echo feels your pain.

Season tix went on sale yesterday. Unlimited passes are $269, unlimited weekday/weeknights are $209, a 6-pack of tickets is $129, and a 3-pack of tix is $69. Sales goes til August 20th at echomountainpark.com.

love,

echo

Ya'll should have a free day, where everyone skis freeeeee!

Wouldn't that be crazy and a great promotion for the mt?

Damn, thats gonna be rough. I'm already getting the Colorado and Superpass prolly, and the rest of my freshman funds are most definately goin for the booze cruise...

it does seem a bit pricey for an all park only mtn...if they had more skiing that would be a deal though

I agree. Its a bit pricey. Especially when you can get the superpass for $160 through wells fargo.

I love the mountain though.. and probably will pick up a 6 pack.

Wish we could swing a better deal but being a small mountain we have limited space for season passes. One thing we can do is swing a discount for pass orders of 10 or more. If there are 10 newschoolers out there who want to do the season pass we can cut a "newschooler" rate to $249. So if you are planning on coming more than 6 times this is the best deal.

Otherwise, the best deal is probably the 6-pack.

Opening date - probably mid November, but we'll keep you posted.

by the way, I like that "free day" or at least super cheap day idea. When in the season should we do it?

Tickets after 4pm are always $20 bucks. (we are open for night riding until 9pm every day of the week). Weekday tickets are $25, and weekends are $35.

i really want to see echo this year, i went last year and i hated the jumps, they were shaped so wierd, im guessing thats probably cause they had like no time to make snow and stuff. but if they have a really good park it could be like the coolest place ever, especially when everyone there is probably under 35 or 40 and/or into park stuff.

its definatly not a rip off, its just that the 5 mountain pass is the best deal ever. actually the echo pass is a pretty damn good deal too. think about other mountains, it costs around 1000 in alot of places for a season pass.

Anyway, the fact that you can ski 5 of the countries top mountains for $350 and the fact that a terrain park costs roughly $270 is a little off balance.

The whole $1000 theory doesnt work because there arent any of those resorts that lie within range of the target market (I-70 corridor). i might go for a few afternoon sessions, but other than that, they better come up with some sweet incentives to get me there.

is there a bus that runs from CU to echo on WEEKDAYS? i know that there is one that is going on the weekends but how about the weekdays

all you kids at echo... take your airblasters off and listen.. your getting the old terrain park manger from timberline... tony distrola..... now i have my own views on this guy.. and im glad he is moving on.... but maybe he will find his niche down there
