I made a thread like this before so sorry for the kind of repost but I'm stuck in St.John's at school and was wondering if there is anyone on here that has a set up or would be down to set something up (arena snow probably)? Or even if anyone knows someone that isn't on NS that snowboards or something where a couple of my friends have their boards here too. Come on NS I'm itchin to get on my skis!!

I know a snowboarder named Erik McLean who's always down to jib. He has a drop in, a generator, truck and lights. Pm me your contact info and I'll send it to him. I can't remember his number.Look up the ski/ride club at MUN though, I think they have a pretty well organized one. They put on a rail jam at Marble last season. I forget who else is out there. There's bound to be a bunch of people who will be eager to get on the go with some rink snow or w/e.

Hate to break it to yet, st johns doent get much snow. They get rain.

But, check out Marble Mountain in the long range mountain

They do get snow, just not as much as the West coast. And there's always rink snow. When st John's does get snow, they usually get a lot. Marble is a 6 hour minimum drive from St John's in the VERY BEST of road conditions, which are virtually non existent. It's more likely to take 9< hours in the winter.

St.John's is actually hilly as fuck dude I think you're thinking of the prairies.

Yeah marble is a pretty tricky trip for a university student but my school is lining up a long weekend trip that's sponsored by coors light and and has legit rail jam the final night. If anyone is around cornerbrook that weekend me and a couple guys would be pumped to do some urban.

I went to St. Johns a couple years ago, there was a bunch of photos people had from the winter before where it had drifted 9+ feet downtown, people were digging tunnels for cars and shit. Pretty crazy. St. Johns is a cool place, I would love to go back...

OP pretty sure there's some cool stuff there, and it for sure snows sometimes. You should hit up Jodi.

Also, I don't know where you would get BC knowledge there, but if you could learn a thing or two or meet up with a group willing to teach you, I know people ski up north. The Meatheads did it one year, it actually looked pretty awesome at times
