i just got a great offer and sold some pocket rockets. time for new skis!!! i am 6'3', 150 lbs, and want a pow ski. i can easily ski 190+ cm and can only get rossi, salomon, or volkl. i wanna float through powder, but still rip up chutes and fly off cliffs. any suggestions? ne 1 know about the sanuks?

jesus you're a big tall toothpick of a man......seth pistols or maiden ak's would work good, gotamas, arv's, 4frnt msps, you probably need at least a 90mm waist and 180cm at the shortest.

The Sanouk looks like a powder destroying machine, so long as you never want to ski fakie. If fakie is important, get something else. I'd say the Gotama, but I've heard weird things about the sidecut. The Karma is too narrow for your uses.

As for the Scratch BC and the Pocket Rocket, I'm not sure they're good for you size wise, and if you're super agressive and don't want 'surf style' turns, you're better off not getting the PR. Salomon makes some other pow skis, but finding info on them, or finding them in stores, is difficult. There's a rad Salomon swallow tail fat board kicking around, sans pilot system...try finding that.

the sanouk is going to be best powder ski of the year i bet its so ridiculous.. but for switch shit you definitely should get the gotama.. made'n ak is a choice too i guess

Jib_This was referring to the Salomon AK Rocket Swallowtail I believe. It's burly, but might just suit your needds if you don't feel like going for a Sanouk or Gotama.

I just picked up a pair of Sanouks and Gotamas Yesterday. The Sanouks are for my mate but they are some big boogie planks. I am just about to drop them in to get mounted.
