Newest quicktime

i want to watch the rails to riches video but i dont think my older quicktime supports mpg4. The problem is i dont want to update my itunes because it will probably screw up the network sharing i have at school. Is there anyway to get the newest quicktime without itunes package?

or will the new itunes still be ok with the network sharing
 
through my dorm i can see and listen to anybody else who's using itunes at that time. Plus with mytunes i can download all their music at like 10 mb/s if i want
 
ok well i just looked at mine and under preferences there is a Share Music option.

so im gonna say yes the new version can still share. so go for it
 
its giving me an error message when i look at the putfile page, but if you go into the source code and find the filename, copy and paste that into the address bar and it will just download the video and work in the standalone quicktime player.
