New Zealand and Insurance?

I'm heading out to Wanaka in 2 weeks, to spend the season in Snowpark NZ, and trying to get insurance. Has any1 been before and know if they have a carte neige thing out there like in france? or know of any good uk based insurance that covers for 4 1/2 months and park skiing?

Quite a boring thread sorry bout that- but I've been trawling the internet- no luck so far- thought there must be some1 here who'd know!!

If you are just going riding, all you need is travel insurance. Blue cross or whatever

Snowpark isn't open when I get there. Opens in late June I think, but i got my Visa last year so have to be in NZ by 15th June.

Thought it'd be better for trying to find jobs and a house to be there early anyway...
