New York Fashion Week?

Sooo yeah.

I guess this is pretty weird thread coming from a guy. But here goes:

So I have three friends (whom are girls) and they are talking about going to the NY Fashion week next time its around, I believe its next fall. So, any of you been there?

They are travelling from Norway and they are pretty keen on me joining, is it worth it?

I've been to Manhattan before and it was pretty chill.

Opinions?
 
Two things. First, by all accounts, if you care about clothes then it's definitely worth it. I would absolutely go if it weren't the other side of the damned continent.

Second, you're going to NYC with three girls. Are they hot? Go.
 
there is one going on right now. Bryant Park is right around the corner from my office. The one in September will be at Lincoln Center. I agree with JD's post but i will say this......unless you have mega hookups or know people "in the industry" dont expect to get in ANYWHERE. not trying to discourage you but its real velvet rope status.

i work for a real estate developer and we sponsored a booth there like 2 years ago. i didnt get to see any shows or anything but it was like 1 big party under the tent.
 
I'm pretty much into fashion yeah so I guess I'm going.

I'm alright with not seeing the shows, I guess there will be some cool stuff to see - and there will be plenty of shops to keep my wallet burning.
