honestly, the funnest thing to do is to just walk around and go into random shops in and around times square

ny is the coolest place ever make sure to go to canal steat. it's this place were you can barder with all these chinease pleople for crappy made stuff.

walk around, go to a club at night if your into that kinda thing, if u got to canal street have one pocket full of singels so thats all the money they think u have, then u get stuff cheaper... if u can get tickets u can go to a play or a show if ur into that.. for food go little italy or china town for that kinda thing.. but just wlak around and ull have fun

i remember seeing this crazy evil restaurant place, but i didn't go in but i want to check it out, so look it up. it's something about vampires and crap.
also check out fao shwartz. it's a toy store, but it's huge and it's so sweet.
battery park is nice too, not as big as central park.
everyone has to check out ground zero when they visit, just to remember.
and you must go to an authentic pizza parlour there, so greasy and so good.

ok im the biggest non-tourist when it comes to the city i live 10 miles away and both my parents work there but i got some good things for you to do
ok... go see a yankee game one day yankee stadium is a place not to be missed
worlds second biggest cathedral is on 110th street and amsterdam ave its friggin huge thats real cool its called saint john the divine
if you wanna shop dont bother goin to times square its overrated and huge the only cool part is that theres tv screens on like every building but go downtown to around brodway and prince street theres an urban outfitters, Eastern mountain sports, american eagle, dean and deluccia, armani exchange, shit like that.
absolutely no tourists go to central park i dunno why its really fun and free u should definitly check that out
and one night go see a taping of conan or letterman theyre both free to get into
and im fresh out of ideas have fun man its a great city i take it forgranted living 10 miles away from it

NYC has some of the best museaums(sp?) in the world and although it might be expensive and slightly touristy you should go to some of them especially the art one at the edge of central park.
also central park is really fucking cool in certain parts, thats one you shouldnt miss.
