alright,

my family got hooked up with a condo at...i think it's smuggler's notch (or sugarbush...i don't remember which)

either way, of all those resorts around there, would I be able to find someone to ride with from december 29th till...sometime the next week? i RELALY want to stay another week to do the rail jam at mt. snow...but a week of school to miss may be impossible

i wont drop out of high school for skiing, mom

I'll either be at WV, sugarloaf, or stratton during Christmas break. If I'm at stratton, maybe I could go to smuggs or sugarbush for the day

our condo is right on sugarbush...without me researching it, if people can give me ideas on the distance to these other places....

because i need to be able to drive there, ski, and get back to sugarbush in a day

also, i won't be going much of anywhere unless i can get cheap tickets.

my dad is looking everywhere online, but I figured some of you guys might have some 'in's' that you could help me out with

also, any competitions around new year's, let me know, please.

thanks again, and feel free to message me if you'd rather not have EVERYONE know you have hookups :-)

if you're looking for discount tickets, then only suggestion I have (except to look online) would be to go to some local shops. I know that my shop sells tickets up to 50% off.

I've never been to sugarbush, but I have a vermont map right infront of me, so I'll try to help you out a little....

It looks like you can deffinatly drive to MadRiver Glen (they're really close), stowe (looks about 20-30 miles away), and Killington looks about 30-40 miles away. Mt. Snow is in southern vermont, pretty far away but if you want to get up a little bit earlier, you could deffinatly drive there and get back to sugarbush by nightfall.

I could hook you up with free Sunday River Lift tickets, but that would be a poke to get back to sugarbush in a day.

Colleen...thank you VERY much.

mad river glen isn't very good...am I right?

i'd LOVE to get to sunday river, from what i've heard of their park.

mt. snow would be nice.

i realyl want stratton.

thanks guys, keep em comin.

well, once again, I've never been to Mad River but eveything I've heard and read about it says its a 'real skiers mountian'. old, twisty trails. So I would say, if the snows good and if you want a little history, why not go there? Its skiers only fairly cheap I think.

Stratton's kick ass. I would go there. Went on closing day last season, half the mountian closed, still an awesome time.

I donno about mt. snow, I might be able to hook you up with some discount tickets. my dad used to patrol there. anyway, just trying to help..and if you havent skied with your family (I think you said you're going with your family), I recommend skiing with them for a day. as lame as it may sound, it can be fun. I never get to ski with my two oldest brothers, so when I do its awesome. plus they ski old 200cm straights, which are cool to watch anyone ski on :)

Nooo, dude, Mad River is definitely a sick mountain. Get somebody who know their way around to show you the mountain... it's got sooo much sick stuff... Lynx, paradise, etc...

how sick is it? because I could have free tickets there? however, that isn't as much an issue...i want to have the best time. would the other places be better? i believe so.
