New Year's Eve skiing?

Who else is gonna be bringing in the New Year while they ski their local hill? At my local place they open the runs at 9 am on New Years eve and then they keep em open until midnight, following with everyone getting a first run in the New Year. Then of course everyone is gonna go get drunk at the bar at the bottom of the hill..

I'm going up to VT with some family friends, bringing my buddy, and then meeting 3 other kids from my town at mt. snow for the 31st and 1st.

That's awesome! Keystone used to do this "36 hours of Keystone" thing where they would literally just stay open for 36 hours. I guess their insurance put the kaibosh on it after a while though. Too many people were renting out condos and just destroying them after 36 hour of drunkeness.

My hill normaly opens at around early november, and its fucking +8C here at the moment... What the fuck is wrongwith you winter???
