New way tor recognize NS'ers

If it's alright with the mods and i'm not infringing copyrights and i get enough orders/people interested then it will probably happen. In response to the ns clothing comment, this sin't about profit, this is all for NS!

That thought crossed my mind too, but if you really want to get technical...

The "NS" logo does not show a copyright symbol on or around it, so it is not legally reprehensible to charge someone with copyright infringement if they were to copy it.

Also, if it were copyrighted, there would need to be an international copyright lawsuit (because it would be involving both Canada and the US) which Newschoolers certainly doesn't have the spare cash lying around for. AND WHY WOULD DOUG GET PISSED OFF ABOUT A BUNCH OF $5 BANDANNAS PROMOTING HIS WEBSITE?

Yeah, it would probably be a reasonable idea to message Doug and ask for permission, but I'm sure he'd be fine with it.
 
thats sick, but the ns itself would be hard to display. how about tileing the logo so no matter what it is showing
 
i tought we had all agreed on running around naked in crowded areas screaming "ns'ers show yourself!"

these bandannas look sick i am def in! if someone made a stencil tho that people could print out and spray paint on stuff that would be sick too! i would def put it on my ski rack next to my line stencil!!
 
exactly. when the wrist bands was a big fad, japanda was going to get them made, and he was shut down by harvey for copyright issues. i beleive that 1. you have to get paul, chris, and harvey's "ok" on it, and 2, they would most likley get 100% of teh profits.
 
what about like the background for ns, if you look to the right of your page. where it's basically a wallpaper of the NS over and over. that'd be rad to have on a bandana, i'd buy one then.
 
I think NS will give this the go ahead and I highly dout they will want 100% profit. This is an idea that will bring the NS community together more as well as advertise it and get more skiers here. This would be good for NS, so for them to do that would be stupid.

how about a simple sticker that looks like a name tag that says

Hello

My NS name is

and then a blank line to write in your name

throw it on your skis and you are golden, plus, no copywrite issues
 
i think id be sick if it was like the traditional design of a bandana but instead of the gnarly little shapes just use the ns logo
 
yeah i think it would be sick if the ns logo was liek repeated all over it, like made a design out of the logos maybe....or really small logos to make the paisley design or something i dont know
