New Verizon Phones

I am in the market for a new phone and I have no idea what to get. I don't want a touch screen and I will mostly be using it for texting and phonecalls.

Here are a few that I have been looking at but I am open to any other options if anybody can think of better options:

if your looking at the Q, then also look at the black berry curve

I considered it but I was under the impression that if you get a blackberry you have to get a data plan as well unless I am mistaken

from what i have learned you need a data plan (i was quoted 30$ a month) with any Verizion blackberry.

I would love to get a data plan but I wouldn't use it enough and for useful enough things for me to get one

yeah my sister has one and I used it and its nothing special but it has bluetooth file transfer which is a plus and a qwerty keyboard but its nothing to write home about

i'm getting hte env2 when my plan expires

i had a sidekick, it broke and i loved it but it was to big...so i picked up a slivr and love the flat phone all the fancy flipping and sliding and going upside down phones are to whack...but i do love the qwerty keyboard

thats why i like the env2 you can use it regular style and you can flip it open to a keyboard, and its not much bigger than my phone...plus you don't need a data plan...cell phone companies are just as bad as oil companies we are getting raped by them, they make so much bank off us.

Yeah the Env2 is nice if your going to be texting a lot. But Man i wouldnt give up my original EnV for anything! The original EnV is the shit

the keypad is so sweet and it's pretty simple to use

i would look into the blackberry curve for sure

unless you have been told otherwise, the Q also needs a dataplan. Most if not all smartphones require a data plan.

Yeah you don't need a data plan for the q but I ended up getting the env2 and I'm pretty happy with my decision
