New UVM Freeski House

It's official now!

I won't be living in it but Zach and Mark, the guys who organized it, have their shit together. They put in a lot of effort to make it happen, as it isn't an easy application.

The Living & Learning Center on campus here has a bunch of different housing suites ranging from the Gaming House to the LGBTQA Collaborative to the Knitting & Crochet House. There are about 25 total.

It's been talked about in the past on the team but the effort hasn't been put in until now. I'm stoked to see it happen.

It's just a couple suites within the L/L building really. Just gotta apply to live in it and the organizers will chose who can live there.
 
You clearly didn't go to UVM because if you did you would know that most students move off campus after sophomore year. The program housing is basically a suite style dorm layout where likeminded students, in this case freestyle skiers, live. It is on campus so a majority of those living in program housing are underclassman. The way I see it, its not a problem and hasn't been over the past years…it's just an awesome opportunity.

But only cause they don't let you live off campus til junior year!

l&l has a nice setup and I'd advise anyone to live there. I unfortunately never did but still spent lots of time there and it's a good central location.

Sure it was a drunken shitshow but can't say it would have been any less crazy with more jrs or srs on the scene. Probably just (marginally) easier access to alcohol ;)

Plus now that they have skinny p right there next to the marche, youre so set.
 
Yo im gonna be a freshman next year and was tryna join this. it says you just right an essay about why you should be in it. No edit? any wisdom/advice?

Senior at UVM here, as long as you're passionate about skiing you should fit write in. Just right a good clear essay with minimal grammar and spelling mistakes and you should be good.
