Hey guys, I'm from Colorado but I'm going to college in southern WA next year. I've decided that the only reasonable weekend drive for skiing for me is gonna be to Mt. Hood. I've been doing some research and was wondering whether you think its better to get a Meadows pass or to get the Ski Bowl/Timberline pass.

I love park and pow so I'm basing my decision on the BC terrain and Parks.

I was also wondering if the season pass for ski-bowl/timberline lasts into the summer or is that a separate purchase i'll have to make?

Any other info you wanna give me on those mountains would be great too.

Thanks!

Also what a lot of people do that like to get some pow days, people get the meadows pass and then purchase a spring pass for spring park at timberline.

its like 350 for season meadows and 150ish? for t-line spring could be wrong on t-line price.

That I would suggest for best overall. But if you like park more then BC go to timberline if you like BC and park like 50/50 go to meadows.

Meadows does have some hefty lift lines on weekends.

Timberline never has lines except when comps are going.

just find you ratio of park and BC if BC is close to 50% go meadows and get the spring t-line pass.

So does the t-line park suck during the winter, and then they make it good for spring? or what? and is there not really any good Pow terrain at t-line either?

I'm not sure how far this would be from you, but Willamette has some awesome cliffs on their backside, and great big mountain ski hill. It is very much less of a resort than say bachelor and mt. hood, but hey that could be a plus for you. Willamette is not a park skiier's hill though
