New to Rollerblading, what's the best way to get into it?

Ok, so a little while ago I bought a pair of skates, for the past few days I've been using them on my summer rail, learning spins on and off, and k-feds, etc. I really want to start skating around the city, but I don't really know what I should try as a beginner. All you experiences bladers out there, what types of features should I try as a beginner to the game. Thanks for any help.

I'm fairly new to it as well but IMO i think you should just have fun with it. Personally i don't really care how good i am as long as i'm having fun, and a majority of the time progression just comes naturally.
 
just jump offa shit.. but yeh where i live theres alot of construction sites and factorys being built so its a playground of drops, plywood and small stair sets,

skate with other skaters, easiest way to learn. . just go out an have fun with some mates, hitup a skatepark or school if theres one near
 
1. Find a group or someone to skate with. Doesn't matter if they are skateboarders, doesn't really even matter if they ride bikes

2. Tag along with them

3. Start hitting ledges

4. Move onto bigger ledges

5. Then hit some handrails

6. Get sponsored

7. Get with some ramp tramps

8. ??

9. ?????
