New to park

what the first guy said. also, start small, work your way up, but don't be afraid to try new things. if you fully commit to something the odds are you'll land it, and even if you don't the fall will be much less painful than if you half ass the trick because your scared.

If you have a backyard with a hill build a low pvc box and practice on it. Its way easier to learn tricks in a controlled environment with no one around. Then you can bring the tricks to the mountain and kill it.

dont be afraid to ask people questions... most skiers are friendly........ skiing is all about having fun so if it starts to become not fun anymore find a way for yourself to enjoy.... i had trouble hitting rails so heres my thred you can take a look at https://newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/609919/

lolsupbro?

Ski switch a lot. It really helps to just ride down groomers switch.

A great man once said "Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Football, and Tennis, all examples of sports that take one ball, Skiing takes two."

If you are going to be good in the park you have to "Nut Up or Shut Up" Commitment is everything.

It also helps to have friends to ski with so you can push each other.

Lastly, join the trick tip cult.

ride with people that are better than you.

this may be intimidating but they are more than glad to help you out. and they were in your shoes at one point. and its how every single pro became good.

this is true, but sometimes i need to be with people to try things. i cant just say im gonna try it this drop then never do it, but in my backyard, theres noone to see me pussy out. but then again i am a massiveee pussy about everything. oh well

This guy knows. Riding with people that are way better than you is probably the fastest way to progress.

Start out small and work your way up, don't try anything you don't feel too comfortable doing but also try to push yourself to learn new things. Have fun and don't be afraid to ask people questions on the mountain!

Never stop before a jump, waiting is for gapers, and if you see somebody dropping, snake him too. If you are feeling tired, lay on the landing of the jump is the best spot. Take all your little brothers, cousins, or their friends, so they can snowplow the take offs, people will be grateful.

Those are the best tips i can give right now.

Actually, always speed check the jumps, the speed can change a lot in a short period of time.

This was my first year of skiing park and the best piece of advice that i got was to start small, and just go for it! If you're scared of sliding a certain rail, the only way to get over that is to nut up and do it! As long as you start small and go for new tricks, you'll be getting front 270's out of rails in no time.

Aaahahaha, i was in winter park, and i was chillin at the roll-in waiting to drop, and some kid is right next to me with his dad. So when i say drop, this kids dad is like "GO GO GO MAX" and so i didnt wanna stop, so i just carved up to the kicker, and landed on the opposite side of where i took off. This kid gets scared shitless and just starts flailing around in the air and eats shit. His dad skied over and flipped me the birds. He was alright though. Made my day
