Im moving to Ft.collins on aug. 15 and i know its like 3 hours to breck but thats no big deal i rode 30 days every year at least at mammoth.

Anyway i just dont really have any contacts or anyone out there to ride with.

People who know the mountains out there.

Wheres the park at in CO compared to Mammoth and who has the TAhoe like big mountains BC shit.

Thanks

I've never ridden Mammoth's park, so I can't say what compares. But my favorite parks are Breck, Copper, Vail in no particular order. For lift-served BC, there's Crested Butte, and Silverton. And almost any good-sized mountain will have some sort of duck the ropes access to good shit.

There's way too many places to list to hike for pow.

Season passes are dirt cheap out here. The popular ones are the 5 mountain pass(Breck, A-Basin, Keystone - unrestricted, with additional 10 restricted days at Vail or Beaver Creek - $329). And there's also the Copper/Winter Park pass - $319. I used to get the 5, but have moved to the Copper/WP pass. I'd highly reccomend getting one or both of these.

There a few kids on here that live in FC too. Search on ft collins in the forums and you may get some more info.

There's also a cult for CO skiers, message one of the cult mods if u want in. Lots of good CO info in there.

There is so much more info., but i don't feel like writing a book today. Message me if u have anything else

in my opinion, copper has the much better park, but WP has the much better mountain. And, with intrawest owning both of them, WP's park is only going to get better. But, that just goes to show you that you may get different advice depending upon who you ask. I only spend about 20% of my time in the park.

you're not gona be driving you ass to cb or silverton, so don't even worry about it. yay, one more person from california.

You can say anything you want if you don't mean it.

what dorm did they stick you in?

it's not that bad of a drive, you get used to it, and i've had the copper/WP pass for the last three years. both mountains have pretty dope terrain, and the parks are good too......not the best in the world, but coppers has some pretty crazy stuff, and WP's got like 5200% better this last season compared to the one before that - not a huge park, but the repitition you can get on a four minute high speed quad ride that is basically the entire length of the park is really good for learning new shit - plus they blast quality drum&bass all day long.

also, cameron pass is closer to FTC than any resort, and you can build kickers right off of HWY 14 or hike to your heart's content. only about an hour+ drive up there. bout 2 hrs to WP, 2,5 to copper/breck/abasin/key, and maybe 3 to vail.

lets see.....me and nut both live here, but i'm 23 and i think he's older.....jarossamdb and permenente1600 also live here i think, but i'm pretty sure they're both still in high school. msg me if you want any more info

Yeah you are hella far from us down here in SoCo. But it's well worth the drive if you know kids to crash with. And CB will have the best of both worlds next season.....sick steeps and a sick park and superstuntditch.

Yeah i worked for salomon oasis project the free demo so i was up there the last 2 years for the us extremes and got to ride cb some real nice terrain.

cd, did you know that they wanted to put the super pipe below painterboy, with the towers in the middile of the flats, retards.

breck has all hte huge jumps and superpipes, but the rest of hte mountain is horrible. keystone has a ton of rails, and decent jumps. vail is very nice overall.

where in CA did you live? i moved here frmo CA a bit ago too. i was from hte bay area
