i didn't think this was worthy of its own thread so I'll just post it on my other thread that apparently wasn't worthy of its own thread either because no one responed. 'Cept for Mr. Gmack who messaged me.

Anyway, check it out.

The Roots played the Warfield in San Fran and sure enough Dave Chappelle shows up on stage. here is post from the Okayplayer forum, its not very detailed though.

I saw Dave Chappelle play keys with the Roots last night!!!

Straight up!!! Chappelle came out on stage blazing a spliff about halfway through the Roots set (@ the Warfield in SF) and hopped on the keys for one tune. He played some My Funny Valentine type thing and then got off stage.

The crowd lost it. Then after the show he came out and stage dove onto the crowd.

Talib Kweli is a lyrical genious, yea the roots were in portland tuesday night and they were awesome
 
the new talib sucks because it was produced by who other then kanye west...kanye west also put out common's cd 'be'...which sucked ass, fuck you kanye west
 
I liked a lot of the songs.

uhh I don't know a lot about Talib, except I like his music, so uh what happened between him and lauren hill?
