New Surface Skis

I was just cruising on Surface's new website and noticed under the Time Series there was a ski called the Blanks and it said available Dec'1, just out of curiosity I was wondering if any NSer's had any idea about this ski Thanks!

Bump, surface just dropped the blanks, basically a dirt cheap version of the no time, but with rubber enforced top sheets. Retail is $250!

Park and Urban skiing are progressing at an alarming rate. Broken skis are inevitable and replacing them is expensive. We've taken the blank skateboard deck concept and applied it to skiing. The Blanks Program is simple, a bomber park ski direct-to-you for an amazing price keeping you on the snow rather than waiting for warranty replacements and customer service call-backs. Built with full wood cores, Carbon stringers tip-to-tail, Polyurethane Floor Mats and super durable TPU-Rubber top-sheets. Forward thinking concept from a forward thinking brand.

Looks sick. Rubber top sheet is an awesome idea. Love it when a company tries to break away from the norm.

I'm actually quite stoked about this...can't wait for a review.

Are they gonna be like $150 on evo in 4 months haha?

These are basically designed to make skiing more accessible to people... I ride no times and will be on these shortly. They are a deadly ski regardless of price. The fact they are going to be around $250 is just icing on the cake!

From what I have heard, John Ware was testing these with a no time graphic all summer... if he can throw down over the 100ft jump at Windells I am sure they will be more than enough ski for any of us...

False, he's been testing a brand new prototype from the lab series. These are essentially the no time without a topsheet and much cheaper. Fucking dope skis
