New SSX game...may finally be the skiing game that everyone has been wishing for

New trailer for the new SSX game. Looks fucking awesome!! I've been waiting for this because On Tour was awesome. They only show snowboarding and haven't mentioned anything about skiing, but its definitely a possibility since the last game gave a choice between skiing and snowboarding. Either way, it looks sick and much more natural and less arcadey/clunky than other games in the genre. Kinda like a snowboarding (hopefully skiing) version of skate. If a lot of people come together (I'm looking at you, Newschoolers) we can hopefully show the developers that their is a high demand for a skiing game. Well, heres the link:

it does include skiing. there was another thread(s) on this game and it included a bunch of sketched concept designs for tricks and environments and one pic had a skier in it. sorry i cant find it right now
 
SSX isn't becoming more like skiing/boarding... skiing/boarding is becoming more like SSX.

yea im sure. it had all those crazy tricks and grabs and it was environments from the game which it then shows digitally later in the vid. ima try to find it
 
he didn't see a single triple cork. meaning there were no triple corks. like he didn't even see one triple cork...
 
The riders still have step in bindings and do ridiculous tricks involving the board being removed mid air..... no Skate senor.

If it has a skier and is as good as SSX on tour i can consider it purchased. That game never dies for me.
 
God wtf, why do they have to put in those rediculous tricks that involve stepping out of their bindings? they annoy me so much cuz they so unrealistic. I would just rather Shuan White Snowboarding.
 


Looks like same old SSX, it is not realistic and they never intended on making it realistic :( I still plan on buying it anyways.

 
Will it be realistic? No.

Will it be the skiing game you wanted? No.

Will it be fun? Fuck yeah it'll be fun.
 
This game, just like on tour, could be as realistic as you make it. In on tour if you start to spin one way, and then in the air switch directions on the d-pad, you spin slowly. and the grabs were dope. I still have a lot of fun trying to do normal tricks
 
I don't think i can read the facebook page anymore... the kid "droo" is just annoying me with how much he argues against skiing in the game, saying snowboarding is cooler, and skiing ruined the series

Those are fuckin fun to do and I bet they will still be in this game.

If you want some realistic just go and ski, that as realistic as it gets.
 
So am i the only one that thinks that this game is going to be a way better version of Shaun White Snowboarding?
