New Skis

Hey I'm getting new skis for the upcoming season and I'm a heavy park skier because I live on the East Coast and never have powder days but I still want skis that I can use in powder in the park as I love skiing powder on ski trips I'm looking for wider skis something like Salomon depart 1.0

2024 model for sure most of the time it’s just a cosmetic change which is just the top sheet.
 
In this thread someone was saying I should get the 2025 model because of durability upgrades. I was thinking of getting the 2025 model because someone also said half of their edge fell off on their 2024 in that thread. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was just a cosmetic change or a ski redesign
