Looking into 2 different skis first is the on3p jeff 102 moment wildcat 101 I ski the east coast mainly vt. I am looking for something to run park All mtn. Will be buying this upcoming years model of the wildcat or Jeff. Any one use any of them what are pros and cons of each.

I ski the Jeff 102 in ny and the thing does everything pretty well I ski park as well as all mtn and tour on them and they have held up flawlessly there’s a couple edge cracks after a season but that’s kinda to be expected

Where did you mount yours

Holy shit, please read your threads before you post. Either will be a good option. Mount either of them -1 or -2 back adn youll be chilling for any conditions/park day on the EC, or anywhere for that matter.

Wildcat 101 is a great ski. Build quality is going to be extremely high. Really versatile for east coast. What’s your % of park vs all mtn? Depending on your usage I’d say give the frankenski a look too. 98 under foot so great for east coast but it’s going to be triple camber.

personally I’ve found moments triple camber skis more fun. (I have both Wildcat 108 and 118) and wish 104’s and 112)

im planning to pick up a Wildcat 101 from the new drop and possibly a frankenski depending on the top sheet this season.

I am coming off this season franken ski but need something more all mtn oriented. I will be 50% park 50% all mtn maybe even 60% park 40% all mtn

Usually anything over 50% park moment recommends the frankenski but if you’re looking for a little more all mountain ability then the wildcat 101 would absolutely fit the bit. If you really enjoyed the triple camber of the frankenski then go deathwish 104.

For most Moment skis the recommended mounting point is basically center. Idk about the Jeff’s but if their recommended point is too far back you should avoid them.

No most of them are -5, the only one that’s either center or super close to is the frankenski I’m pretty sure. Wildcat is -5, deathwish is -5, deathwish 104 is -6.

I would call -5 close to center. That’s what I got my first park skis mounted at and they worked well. For 100% park I would go closer but for all mountain they will be prime.

Yeah that’s fair I guess it’s more of a personal point of view. For me -5 is more around the all mountain freestyle range, I would consider, “basically center,” from center to like -2.

I’ve been on the Wildcat 101 since it was the PB&J and it has served me very well as a 70/30 (even more like 50/50 5 years ago) allmtn/park ski, primarily East Coast but also was my daily for a season in Alta and a season in Whitefish so it can certainly survive a trip out West should you have the opportunity. They’re super nimble and have tons of early rise for their width meaning you can flick them around and pivot super quickly which works well for EC trees. Never skied the Jeff but from what I’ve heard it sounds like they’d be substantially heavier and damper, but otherwise would be pretty similar. I’d say if you want agile, go wildcat, and if you want if you want stable/chargier go Jeff. I have them mounted at -2 which is perfect for my purposes.

If you're open to other options, the Armada Edollos are 98mm and they do amazing in powder. I've skied Amrada Al Dentes since 2017 (sadly I'll be hanging them up after this summer), but they're by far the best all mountain ski I've ever had. I put over 100 days on them (granted most of the skiing was outside of the park), and they're still intact. I skied them for about 30+ days at Copper Mountain and 70+ days at various locations in Alaska. This past season we had a weekend where we got a good couple of feet in just a few days and they ripped through the powder- very enjoyable ski.

Do you have your WC -2 from center or -2 from rec. I am considering mounting my WC101 at +2 from rec (-3 from center), to make them a little more playful and also increase the strength of the tail a bit.
