New skis for next season

Looking for flexy skis for next season

Location:Europe, meaning import fees will screw me over

Height: 5′11

Level: My level is probably 2.5/10 and i have like 30 days on skis or so

Budget:300-400 bucks,

What kind of ski: A flexible ski for park, i don't care much about performance on slope, i will rent on powder days for now so i don't care about that either.

Skis i've looked at

Line honey badger

Line blend

Not much u can get w 3-400$ but checkout Vishnu wets, J-skis vacation, armada arv’s or some faction skis. I’ve used the honey badgers this year and they are super fun and flexible, plus there pretty cheap. only downside is the durability. if you really go heavy on them they will be destroyed really quickly (like most skis) just keep it in mind.

anyways honey badgers are probably your best bet

With that budget you may want to look at used skis. Just make sure the edges are still intact and there aren't any major issues with the bases

skis that ship from america is tough because of import fees, so j skis and vishnu is a no go atm

i've heard faction also has bad durability but good customer service.

Then again, faction and line might have bad durability but i don't even know if i beat the skis enough to make it affect the buying decision.

There is the Surface Give'r. I probably going to get them and there's already a bunch of people that have them. The dimensions are close to the blends. They are supposed to be flexible, but probably not as soft as the blends. And they are a cheaper option compared to other skis.

shipping+fees means they will run me like 700.

maybe i should have clarified this but im buying 19/20 skis so i should be able to get most arv/line park skis for like under 400

fair enough, i just think they will be too stiff anyway, if i want to learn butters n stuff i think i need a ski that makes it as easy as possible

Any park on3p ski us also great

Did you read the post? 300-400 euro, doesn't want to import because of duties.

OP, is there anything from Movement, Majesty, Amplid or any of the other euro brands that might fit the bill? Some of those skis are not too widely known on ns generally.

Are you only looking for skis that will butter and nothing else? Blends would probably be perfect for you

well just soft park skis(will never be able to butter poachers)I don't care about performance outside the park.

its tough with those brands, seems like movement doesn't make freestyle skis. Amplid it seems like they stopped making skis and only make snowboards now. Majesty has like 2 freestyle skis but they have a flex rating of 5/10 and 7/10

Yeah then id say to consider both blends and armada bdogs or bdog edgeless, blends are a ridicoulously soft ski that are super good in the park, a real tokyo drift kinda ski, armada bdogs are soft enough to butter, but still have a little stability in landings, and bdog edgeless are an absolute swerve ski these things are super soft and barely can turn but fun asf

i don't think edgeless skis are a good idea for a jerry like me. In terms of line blend and hb i can't figure which one would suit me better, honey badgers obviously has some advantages like weight and price, but bascially honey badger i would get the 166, and blend get the 171, which would mean that for the blend it would only be 5-6 centimeters short than me, i don't know if that would be a problem or not.

Yo if your 5"11 166 and 171 are both way too small, even for park you would want a minimum 177 for your height, and for softer skis like the blends id size up to 181 or so. Honey badgers are a decent option too but 166 would be way too short and make you look like a jerry lmao

i am 5 9 (converted it wrong), line size chart says 167+ on intermediate and remember again i am not very good

If you live in Europe, then you should check sport-conrad and sport-bittl, they have amazing promos! You can sometimes find park skis from previous seasons even for 200€

lmao, even if you are a beginner you will benefit from having a longer ski, at 5 foot 9 id recomend atleast 177, that should be around your height maybe taller. also i looked at that chart and it doesnt seem very accurate. longer skis will always benefit you

I've heard from a friend that the Line Honey Badgers break fairly easily so if your looking to have a pair of skis that you can ride long term don't know if the Badgers are your best bet. Personally looking at Armada ARV 96s.

khai riding them the whole season is fucking bullshit.Vishnus would have been sick but i guess i'll have to wait for that.

Yeah man, I just got a pair of the badgers and they’re really nice. You said you’re new so I think the honey badger would perfect for you because of how light they are. One thing to note about the badgers tho is that they aren’t very stable at all. So if you are looking for one you can straight line down bumps and moguls, I suggest something slightly stiffer, but if you plan on staying in the park most of the day, the honey badgers are perfect.

oh yeah I forgot to mention, I’m 5’9” and I grabbed the 171s and they’re almost too short for me and I like to think I’m a pretty good skier so I would definitely get the 171s if I were you

Last season I found a deal and got my blends for like 250, so if you can find a deal like that I'd definitely recommend them.

yeah but you are a good skier. I fucking suck

K2 press are pretty soft but still pop well and are dirt cheap. i have also never seen delamination as a problem like many honey badgers (ive seen 3 delaminated honey badgers). Theyre slightly stiffer than HB at first but after breaking them in its butter city

I started reading the thread but god there are so many responses and I immediately had a ski in mind. So I hope this wasn’t suggested already.

Check out Majesty skis Vandal 3.0. They’re having a killer deal now too. In usd it’s like $325 or so. It’s definitely under 400 euros. They’re out of Poland too so no USA import taxes. The roofbox did a review too.

There’s one left in 181 on snow country. €299,99 now. Even cheaper than yesterday

could be something but they get a flex rating of 6/10 in the review so they are definitely not as soft as the others.

ey whats up

so u want flexible park ski? why is nobody talking bout the edollos??? i just got my third pair a week ago for like 350..

it is probably my most favorite park ski of all time. all over fun, an absolute butter machine and they look sick. in the freestyle segment one of the best price-performance ration in the industry in my opinion. peace out

I’m able to butter poachers and I’m 14. It’s just preference. I like a stiffer ski so it has some more pop for bigger butters but what ever floats your boat

I’ve got mega cheap blends up for sale right now so import probably wouldn’t kill ya. Lmk if u want pics or anything
