New Ski Prices

There are more price-point skis comming out in my opinion. watch-lifes are 100$ cheaper this season, fujis, El Rays.

But, they can charge as much as they want-the companies know we will buy them.

but usually the next year u can get em for sooooooooo much cheaper so its usually better just to wait.

this kid's on track. the shop i work at is carrying so many more price point skis next year.

line, volkl, k2, salomon, armada, pretty much every ski company is working on making the most solid skis at the best prices

pre-season, shops sell skis at MSRP

during the season, they lower the prices to stay competitive

ex-invaders

now-299

during and post-season-199-219

plus looking on ebay in the spring, summer, and fall without fail will indeed give you insane oppurtunites at amazing sales.

last year i saw ar5's for sale at the end of the year for 199, and then i saw them the fall i bought them for 269.

spring sales are better.

I have to disagree.

Typically, skis are on sale now, go to MSRP, go on sale at christmas, go back to MSRP, go on sale around march/early april, then go on super sale over the summer.

just do what me and alot of other people do. wait till end of summer when all new shit is comin out and buy last years stuff. just got Dynastar Troublemakers for $199.00 thats fucking rediculously good for a ski that kills park

ya i just pick up a pair of pipe cleaners for 250 and my friend got some jp vs. juliens for 225 at the same shop.  it was ridiculous

certain shops will carry a more price point ski and I think this is great, our shop tries to do this with Armada, Line, 4FRNT, K2, HSFR, skis usually are $550-$650 some lower $299 and $350, this makes a difference being a ski bum, looking for that cheaper ski, while not comprimising quality
