New ski bum to SLC

Just arrived in Salt Lake City tonight and planning on hitting up some ski areas in the next week. Have passes to Snowbird and Alta and thinking of checking out another mountain or 2 as well. Any tips on some sweet places to go/the best way to get to the mountains and also maybe what to do in SLC when not skiing?

Check out the other Solitude or Brighton when your there if you can. The ski areas are so easy to find from Downtown SLC I wont even bother...You will find them. Lots to do at night in SLC. My favorite place is The Bayou. Huge beer selection and great food. Right downtown so you can hit up other places too if you want. If the bar tender Garret or Geoff tell them that Joe S.(Michigan) sent you and I guarantee you a free beer.
