New Silverstien

Anyone pick it up yet? It just came out yesterday, I've listened to it twice through so far and it's pretty sick. Harder and a little more complex with the instruments than "Smashed To Pieces". I need to listen a bit more before I give my review, but if you were a fan of the first one or any screamo, then pick this up now.

Yeah I got it, listen through it maybe three times now. I much prefer When Broken Is Easily Fixed. It's still a good album, but not really any stand-out tracks. The first album has two or three tracks that are incredible.

wow i heard one song on muchmusic, i think its callled , smile in your sleep or something, well anyways, i've never heard of them before that and it sounds pretty good, i give them thumbs up!:)

i know what you mean - it's hard to beat smashed to pieces with a few of the tracks like:

i'd rather die than have to see your smile.

new thrice comes out today, i'm on my way to get it now.

The release date for thrice's new album has been postponed. Its not out until october or something.

Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but in the end, it doesnt get you anywhere. Write that down.

so now that i'm back from best buy without the new thrice cd that's not coming out for a few more months.........

i've listened to the silverstein cd a bunch more and i think that even though "when broken is so easily fixed" had a few amazing standout tracks, "discovering the waterfront" is definetly the better cd.

It's faster and much more fluid. The entire cd flows together and isn't nearly as choppy and hacked up as their first one. The standout tracks on the first one were amazing and then the rest of the cd was just sort of meh - this time they've discovered how to mix the screaming and singing better and use more complex instrumentals. And i think that the "hey!" part in track 10 is unbelievable. I'm a sucker for group yelling thanks to my older punk roots.
