New Rail

I have the capability to make a metal rail for my backyard, the guy thats welding it need some plans, so I said I would draw him some. The only problem is, what kind of metal, and what type, IE: double barrel or flat bar (He said he can make flat bar), or Single Barrel? How high should it be off the ground, and how long? My backyard is about 60 feet long so I have 60 feet to work with, but I still need room for an inrun, and a tower for the inrun.

Also

If I wanted a long rail, it would be pretty hard to transport, is there anyway to make the rail in 2 seperate pieces, and then connect them in a way that my edge would not catch on the connecter part?

make like an A rail...like 10 feet up...10 feet down...just not too high in the middle so you can practive sw ups...make 2 pieces so you can connect them or seperate them when you get home and do whate ver you wnat...like up rail...down rail...a rail...up gap down...

just make somethings sweet cause you at least have metal
