New product/ kickstart- Trace sports monitor

It's being made by the folks at alpine replay and it more or less replaces all those apps that measure your speed, distance, time, etc.

So it could be useful if you are worried about skiing with your phone but I think it will really shine through for the skate and surf side of things if it is as good as it claims.

But of course all of the info gets sent to an app on your phone for later viewing.

They hit their goal with 3 days to go. I would more than likely pick one up if they improved the battery life, I'm assuming it would last less than 7 hours in the cold.
