go to the rental shop, say urs broke and u need some for the day, and never go back. if you rental shop is smart, they will have some plastic grey poles that seem gay but when u see that they will not break then u will be happy u didnt spend your money on other poles

im looking to spend around 30 bucks my old ones were well used but they are bent and heavy, i want something lighter, maybe of carbon. I usually dont shop for poles because my dad used to get just metal ones for us so i dont know how to go about it

poles are all the same, you dont think about them when you are riding. get the cheapest

Dont go to England...E V E R

Get Scott PR series poles. They fucking rule. I know they are a bit more than your want to spend but they are so worth it. I had been breaking a pole or two every season but my dispatch poles have lasted two full seasons without even a little bend. They are still as straight as they day I bought them. The aluminum they use is stronger than any other pole on the market.

go to a thrift shop, there like 2 bucks, or ski sales, for like 15

get good ones or u will just keep breaking them and haveing to get new ones. i found some good rossy poles afew yrs back that were reg 120 but 50% off and still have those. i forget them sometimes and i had to get some cheapies for a road trip and i broke them the first day and had to ski around with two poles that were about 2ft long. same thing happened when i went to high north. get good poles!

Carbon will cost you a lot more than 30 dollars. Just pick up a pair of poles that got left behind at the mountain. Happens all the time.

bar that shit! rental poles r the best they hold together awesome and they cost nothing. if ne shops sorta know you u'll be able to scam a pair for free too.

I say get shitty poles, in my experience expensive poles break whereas shitty poles just get bent and are easy to bend back, or you can leave them bent cause that adds character

'Rufus, Brent, and Micus were like brothers to me, and when I say brothers I don't mean like an actual brother, but I mean it like black people mean it, which is more meaningful I think'

i found a paint of awsome cross country poss made of like composite or something, there really light and look awsome. plus they won't bend and they fit me perfecto

r u sayin we r being censored by da goverment?

go with scott series 4s... pricey, but worth it

As i awoke this evening with the smell of wood smoke clinging

Like a gentle cobweb hanging upon a painted tepee

For he told us that the yellow moon would very soon be leaving

This i can't believe i said, i can't believe our warlord's dead

Oh he would not leave the chosen ones to the buzzards and the soldiers guns

if you must, get the k2 kid poles. the juvi i think...thats more than enough pole...

i doubt you can get carbon poles for 30...i have the scott dispatches...they're kinda heavy and long for me, so i need them cut....but yeah just go to like, the ski swap or whatever, poles dont matter that much....

Dude, you should get JOYSTICK poles! First poles designed by skiers for skiers.

Once that shit comes out, it'll be the dopest poles since the Leki Action in '92.

You should check that shit out before anything else.

I'm all over it!

^Good idea. Then tell us how they hold up. You'll be an NS revolutionary, the first one to test them and come back to NS.

The Salomon pocket rocket poles say 'big pimpin' on them to prove to everyone that u are truly a pimp. I got them at the end of my last season and skied about 10 times on them bent one doing a rail but otherwise they are great. I broke two other pairs of semi cheap poles last season and the pocket rockets seem way better. but the baskets fall off of them quite easily.

haha i looked at the solo pocket rockets the colors are sick on those

i dont know what kind of poles i have, but why does it matter. I suppose they need to be strong, but if they break you can get new ones for like 10 dollars

goode poles dont break, i stole some from my rental shop and nothin wrong with them yet

Some times the ski patrol has a box of used ones they find during the season and when the snow melts. You can take what you need for 'a small donation'. Otherwise just buy some cheap ones, whether they break or not is just luck. If they bend then just whack em on a tree and bend them back.
